Edgar Lockwood told his grandson Simon, “You have to be patient. Even if you have to coax or trick her, you must get Grace Lockwood to make you the president of the Lockwood Group.”
Simon nodded and said attentively, “Grandma, you must be tired. Please, sit down and rest. I'll give you a back rub.”
Grace Lockwood said with disgust, “Just stay over there. Look at your hair, it's a rainbow mess. You look like some kind of punk. It's just awful to look at. And those flashy clothes… when did the Lockwood family's standards fall so low? My other grandson looks so proper, though.”
Grace Lockwood looked at Mrs. Lockwood and asked, “Is this your son too? He doesn't look like he came from you. What is this… thing?”
Mrs. Lockwood quickly waved her hand. “He's not mine. I could never produce something like that.”
Simon was speechless. What was happening?
Grace suddenly grew angry. “Is this my son's illegitimate child from some affair? Go get me a pair of scissors.”
Mrs. Lockwood was confused. “What do you need scissors for?”
“I'm going to snip him, of course,” Grace said furiously.
Snip him.
“If a man can't keep it in his pants and dares to do something so depraved, he might as well be a eunuch. Even if he were my own son, I wouldn't tolerate it.”
Mrs. Lockwood said nervously, “Mom, please don't be angry. Your son would never be that awful. He wouldn't fool around and have children out of wedlock!”
Edgar Lockwood's expression soured. Was she taking a jab at him again?
“Your son is a good man. Our marriage is very strong.”
Grace suddenly zeroed in on the key issue. She looked at Edgar Lockwood and said sternly, “If he's not my son's problem, then don't tell me this is the product of you messing around outside?”
“You don't need to worry about where he came from. All you need to know is that he is our grandson and can inherit the Lockwood family's assets.”
“I may be old, but I’m not stupid! This is my grandson, and this is my daughter-in-law. My daughter-in-law says Terence is her son, but this rat is not. I only have one son, so where did this other grandson come from?
He must be yours with another woman. And you dare to bring him into this house? Do you take me for a fool? Tell him to get out, now!”
Simon gasped. He hadn't done anything, so why was he being thrown out again?
This had to be an act. There was no way she was really senile.
He snapped, “You old hag, you're just faking it, aren't you? You're messing with me!”

Time for Marie to get her end, this has gone on way too long, time to move on. It’s getting boring....
Payback time. Waiting for chapters 321 onwards!...
I love the sarcastic comebacks. Quite amusing!...
