Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 690

Richard, Marcus, and Elaine… they all cared so much about Natalie now, didn't they? Well, let them watch her die right in front of them!

Natalie replied, “The food here is very good. You don’t need to bring me soup.”

Another rejection. She wouldn't even let her mother bring her soup.

She really didn’t like her, this biological mother of hers.

Thinking back on the things she had said to Natalie, Elaine knew her daughter’s hatred and resentment were justified.

She looked at Natalie, her eyes full of guilt. “Natalie, I’m sorry. Everything before was my fault.”

“You don’t need to apologize. Marcus is recovered now. I wish you and your family all the best. I have to go to work.”

Just as Natalie turned to leave, the killer reached her. He brought out a knife and, with vicious speed, plunged it toward her neck.

Elaine saw it. Her eyes widened in horror.

“Natalie, move!” she screamed, her body reacting at the same time. She shoved Natalie out of the way.

The next second, the blade sank directly into her own chest.

“Ah! Murder! Someone’s been stabbed!”

The crowd screamed in terror, and the scene erupted into chaos.

Natalie was pushed aside. The moment she turned back, she saw the knife embedded in Elaine Ward’s chest.

In that instant, the blade felt as if it had pierced her own body.

“Damn it!”

“You will. You’re going to be fine.” Natalie’s own voice was trembling as she shouted at Marcus to get the car ready to go to the hospital.

Elaine managed a weak smile. She was being saved by her daughter.

“My sweet girl… even if you don’t want me as your mother… you’re still so worried now that I’m hurt. I’m so happy right now… As long as you’re not hurt… I’m happy.”

Richard cried out, “You have to hold on! We’re almost at the hospital!”

Elaine looked at Natalie. “I’m sorry. I hurt you so much because of Marie… I never imagined I was hurting my own flesh and blood. When I think about it, I can’t sleep… I feel like I want to die. I’m so sorry… so sorry, Natalie. I’m so sorry.”

.”

Elaine kept apologizing, her voice full of self-loathing as she remembered all the things she had done and said to Natalie. Every word was like a knife twisting in her own heart.
