Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 661

"Your Honor, members of the jury," the prosecutor began, "the horrific nature of this crime lies in its impact. Athelvia has banned firearms for a century. The defendant knowingly and brazenly broke this law. Witnesses reported that the gunfire lasted for over an hour. Residents thought it was a terrorist attack."

"Objection," Vivienne countered smoothly. "Your Honor, jury members, I don't believe my actions were horrific. I was saving someone. If doing a good deed gets you condemned, who would ever dare to help anyone again?"

"Not all sins can be masked by good intentions," the prosecutor fired back. "The public isn't blind, and the law certainly isn't. The defendant executed eight victims who had already completely lost the ability to fight back. The autopsy report shows that one victim suffered nineteen gunshot wounds. That goes far beyond saving someone. That is sadistic, vengeance-fueled torture."

"Furthermore, the video clearly shows the defendant coercing another victim into firing a weapon. She literally guided the girl's hands to shoot, even after the girl explicitly refused. This completely contradicts her claim of being a savior. It defies the behavioral logic of a normal human being."

Mr. Caine looked up, the courtroom lights glinting off his gold-rimmed glasses. The jury included a psychiatrist. Claiming Vivienne suffered from a dissociative break wasn't going to work anymore. But the prosecutor's phrasing was strangely deliberate. Mentioning 'the behavioral logic of a normal human being' felt like a trap waiting to be sprung.

"Miss..."

Mr. Caine realized the danger and started to stand up to warn her, but Vivienne didn't miss a beat. Her demeanor flipped instantly. Her eyes turned ice-cold as she pointed directly at the prosecutor.

"You're calling eight rapists 'victims'? And you dare compare them to the actual victims? Even if you're trying to uphold your twisted sense of justice, you could at least pretend to be human!"

The prosecutor finally realized he had walked right into her emotional trap. He scrambled to pivot. "I ask the defendant to stop deflecting and address the charges directly."

Vivienne lowered her gaze, then looked up, her expression dead serious. "Your Honor, members of the jury, let me ask you this. Do you honestly believe that a sixteen-year-old girl, even with a gun, is guaranteed to win against eight massive, violent men intent on assault?"
