Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 753

Caspian's gaze swept across the newcomers, his anger still burning violently. "If you're so terrified I'll beat your son to death, then take him and get out."

"This..." Leander choked on his words, turning desperately toward Dorian.

Dorian was currently burning in his own personal hell. Every single assassin he had deployed tonight had been wiped out. By the time he received the news, it was already too late. The Patriarch had mobilized the northern military overnight, safely evacuating the guests before placing the entire district under lockdown.

If his involvement in tonight's bloodbath leaked, he would be permanently exiled from the Ravenshire family.

Forcing himself to stay calm, Dorian discreetly assessed the room. Seeing that Sebastian's memorial tablets had been brought out, he realized the situation was even more catastrophic than he had feared.

After a moment of quick calculation, Dorian chose to lay low, his gaze casually sweeping over Cyril. But Cyril had lost his usual sharp spark; he hadn't so much as glanced at Dorian since they walked in.

Caspian stared coldly at the group. "What are you all doing here?"

Taking one look at the scene, everyone knew the Patriarch was past the point of reason. They exchanged nervous glances.

Lucian braced himself and spoke up. "Dad, we heard The Volgaar Raiders attacked the northern resort... Vivienne and Bianca were hurt. How are the kids doing?"

"One has a ruined arm, and the other has a ruined arm and ruined legs. How do you think they are?" Caspian retorted.

At those words, Alaric's and Julian's eyes grew even redder.

Misinterpreting the situation, Leander thought Julian was being unfairly targeted. He gritted his teeth and stepped in front of Julian. "Dad, we're all heartbroken that Vivienne and Bianca were hurt. But you can't just take it out on Julian and the others. You only care about Vivienne! Julian was shot in the leg too, yet you don't seem to care about him at all!"

Caspian shifted his gaze to the bandages wrapped heavily around Julian's leg. "You hear what your father is saying? What do you have to say for yourself?"

"It was my fault," Julian said evenly. "Even if you beat me to death today, Grandpa, I deserve it."
