Cheated Once Cherished Forever: The Billionaire's Bride novel Chapter 121

With just a few words, Theodore managed to silence everyone in the room. He hadn't even issued a warning, yet people instinctively obeyed. Everyone quietly deleted the photos they had just taken, fully cooperating.

But that wasn't all. Caleb personally went around to check, making sure nothing remained even in the trash folder.

Some people began to complain. No matter how powerful Theodore was, checking someone's phone still felt like an invasion of privacy.

Finally, someone brave spoke up. "Who are you? You don't have the right to check our phones, do you?"

Seeing someone stand up, the others murmured in agreement, "Yeah…"

"Why do you get to check our phones? We already deleted the photos…"

Caleb's expression turned cold as he looked at those protesting. Having spent so much time by Theodore's side, he exuded an undeniable air when his expression stiffened. These artists, who normally kept to their studios and avoided socializing, couldn't help but quiet down.

The private room fell silent. No one dared to breathe too loudly.

Theodore took Isabella's hand and said in a deep, resonant voice, "I'm Isabella's husband. Checking your phones earlier was a bit forward of me. Here's compensation for everyone…"

Emma placed a safe on the table and opened it with a swift motion, revealing a chest full of cash.

Everyone froze, looking at each other in disbelief.

Isabella also stared at Theodore, puzzled.

He gave her a reassuring glance and squeezed her hand gently, a tender gesture that felt both intimate and comforting.

Then, he continued, "I know all of you are well-known artists, and any of your works could earn you a significant income. This money may not mean much to you. But I hope everyone can show mutual respect.

"My wife doesn't want to appear online, so I took the liberty of asking for your cooperation. If you don't mind, please accept this token of appreciation."

He paused, then added, "If not, my lawyer can take you through the legal procedures." Though his tone was calm, those words carried more weight than any harsh warning.

The room seemed to freeze over. The artists who had just whispered in protest went silent, their eyes darting between the cash and Theodore's composed expression.

No one mentioned "privacy rights" again. Being part of the art world, they understood what "legal procedures" implied. Theodore could afford a top-tier legal team. If they pushed back, they'd gain nothing and might even invite trouble.

She smiled without replying.

Once Caleb was done checking the last phone, Theodore had Emma distribute the money. At first, people tried to refuse, but Emma insisted, and they eventually accepted.

Theodore looked around at the group and said calmly, "Thank you all for understanding. I apologize for interrupting your gathering. Today's expenses are on me. I'll take my wife with me now."

At that, the previously tense atmosphere completely relaxed.

Theodore didn't say more. Holding Isabella's hand, he walked toward the door, with Emma and Caleb following in step.

At the doorway, Isabella glanced back, meeting the friendly eyes of several artists. She nodded lightly before following Theodore out.

As the door closed, low murmurs finally filled the room, but no one mentioned the earlier grievances. Instead, they exclaimed, "Wow… Glamoore! I actually saw her in person!"

It was only then that they realized SunnyBite and the fake Glamoore had quietly slipped out.
