Various luxury cars were parked at the front of Carrfield Bar while over ten security personnel stood at the entrance. It was clear how strict they were with security at this place.

Isabella entered the bar. The main hall was dimly lit. In fact, it was so dim that she could barely make out the faces of the people right in front of her.

How was she supposed to find Alexander like this? She looked around, bewildered. She couldn't find the person she was looking for.

Two men approached her. When they noticed that she was looking for someone, they went up to her and teased, "Hello, pretty lady. Are you looking for an escort?

"Wanna come with me? I'll treat you to some drinks…"

Isabella shunned them without any hesitation and continued walking further into the bar. Fortunately, neither man pestered her, allowing her to breathe a sigh of relief.

She realized that she wouldn't be able to find Alexander just by searching blindly. She figured that she'd first go to the bar and ask if she could borrow a charger to charge her phone. Then, she'd be able to ring Alexander up.

"Hello… Excuse me—"

Before she could even finish speaking, the handsome bartender extended his arm and pressed his index finger against her lips to shush her. The physical contact that came out of nowhere made Isabella freeze in shock.

"Shush for now, pretty lady. Let me make you a drink that's exclusively for pretty ladies," he said.

Isabella refused immediately, saying, "I don't need a drink. I—"

"Shh…"

The handsome bartender smiled tenderly at her. Then, he grabbed a cocktail glass. With a smooth turn of his wrist, the glass slipped through his fingers in a perfect arc before landing steadily on the counter.

Isabella had never made a careful observation of a bartender's movements. Now that she was forced to watch him, she couldn't help but size him up a little.

This bartender was quite a good-looking man. Good looks were probably a requirement to work at a place like this.

Isabella also realized that he had shallow dimples when he smiled. It was no wonder that people said those who became rich would get a young and adorable sugar baby.

Who wouldn't adore such a charming and submissive young man? Desire was truly limited for many who were poor.

"Have a taste, miss."

The bartender pushed a glass containing a pinkish drink right before Isabella, watching her with an expectant look on his face.

Isabella looked at him and smiled. She asked, "How much is this drink? I'll return it if it's too pricey. After all, I didn't order it. But if the price is acceptable to me, I'll drink it since you're a good-looking man."

Fine… It was pretty noisy in the bar anyway, and Isabella couldn't be bothered to explain herself either. After all, no one would remember her after a few days.

After thanking the bartender, she headed upstairs.

The door to the first private room on the second floor had a sign that read—"Members Only". Isabella knocked on the door, but no one opened it, probably because there was too much noise in the room, or the soundproofing was just too well done.

So, she pushed the door open and entered the room.

The room was quiet. The lighting was even dimmer compared to the main hall. Isabella had to take some time to adapt to the darkness before she could get a clear sight of Alexander lying on the couch alone. He was sprawled out on his back. From the looks of it, he was passed out drunk.

Isabella walked toward him, calling out, "Mr. Sinclair? Are you okay? Mr. Sinclair?"

"Hmm?" Alexander responded in a gentle voice that carried a tinge of sexy huskiness. His tone sounded entirely different from the arrogant, haughty, and frigid tone that he normally used when speaking with others.

Isabella was momentarily stunned. Even so, she asked, "How are you feeling? Are you able to walk?"

"Isabella…" Alexander uttered so tenderly that it gave her goosebumps.
