Parker

He had his own Mate and Lona dragged off to the cells, kicking and screaming the whole way. She was yelling at the pack members to come and help her, that Parker was going to torture her and kill her.

He connected himself to the entire pack and addressed them “I, your Alpha, have reason to believe that the Luna to this very pack. My own Goddess–Gifted Mate, is a traitor to not only myself but all of you. I will be investigating the matter at hand fully,

“The current matter at hand being, that Carina had knowledge of your previous Luna, Luna Belladonna, being pregnant with my heir. That Carina not only hid the fact when Belladonna followed Wolfen Law and

tried to have me informed of the child she was carrying.

“But that Carina intercepted all the emails while I was off pack territory dealing with the fallout of her posting pictures of us in the human world. Something that I now believe, was used as a distraction by Carina herself, to see me overwhelmed by bad press and needing to sort that out, which allowed for her to respond to the emails and then delete them before I had any knowledge of them.

“She not only answered them, but portrayed herself or had someone else, portray themselves, as me to answer the emails on my behalf. Not only did she or they respond to the emails, but they signed my name on a digital contract that saw all my rights as a father being given away.

“I have a son to Belladonna, who Carina knew of, and denied not only myself but all of you the right to know the heir to the pack, the right to have Belladonna here inside this pack. She did all of this just 11 days after Belladonna left the pack. I will be getting to the bottom of this matter and no one is going to help Carina. Those that come to her aid will be seen as traitors themselves.

“For any of you that may have actual concerns about Carina’s well–being during the investigation. I have been given a copy of all the emails and the contract, from the Wolfen Council themselves. Who she also deceived, along with myself and Belladonna, who believed I did not want the child she was having with

“Alpha Gretta Rivers of the Wolfen Council, was the one to oversee the deal being made, it was also Alpha Gretta that requested I come home to the pack and investigate the matter fully, as it is her signature on the contract, she is also unhappy about being deceived.

“I am simply confronting Carina and investigating the matter as per the Wolfen Council’s request. Carina shows her guilt by trying to run from me when confronted about the matter. I will get to the bottom of this regardless of how long it takes.” He cut the link and continued on to the cells.

Carina was searched before being put in that cell and her phone was confiscated from her, as were her shoes and jewellery. He held her face over the sink and washed off all her make–up, had her stripped naked and pushed into the cell, where she was tossed a simple grey smock dress

She struggled and fought against it the entire time, yelled and ranted about letting her go. She’d done

nothing wrong, then when the cell door banged shut, and he tossed her that dress, she clutched it to her body. “You’re a bastard, just let everyone see me naked.” She grated out.

“So, what, it’s not like they haven’t before, after a pack run or when you strut around in barely a string bikini with your ass and boobs hanging out. What’s the difference? They don’t even look, have no interest in you or your body… Are mated and don’t ogle unsightly things.”

“Unsightly? I’m beautiful, you’ll regret this.” she yelled at him.

“No, I won’t, because I regret ever accepting our bond. I should never have let Belladonna go. To accept one such as yourself. She was and is a thousand times better than you.”

She screamed at him and launched herself at him all claws out to strike him through the bars “I hate you.”

“Yes I know. That will make things easier, because I hate you too. But I won’t reject you until I have my answers. I’m sorry to you Ruby,” he stated to her wolf “I know wolves don’t get involved in such petty matters, so when I come back for the questioning, I will cuff Carina so you don’t get affected.”

He nor Vex would harm the wolfen side of this woman. It was unlikely her wolf had plotted this out. That was a human trait. Wolves were loving of their mates. It was the human side that could be traitorous and greedy and, unfortunately, wolves couldn’t be separated from their humans, so they had to accept them and their doings, or they’d be killed for outing their humans.

They could not stop their humans from doing things at times, could tell them it was wrong or not to do it, plead with them and force shift them at times in an effort to try and stop them from doing traitorous things, but without being in control every minute of the day, they couldn’t stop them altogether.

This Parker believed was one of those situations. Vex did love Ruby, and they mated often, ran about the woods and played with each other at times. So they were not about to cause Ruby undue pain, so all they could do was cut her off from her human counterpart in order for her to feel nothing.

“You’re a coward, cuff me because you’re afraid. I’ll fight back.”
