"This wasn't a mistake, it was a severe dereliction of duty. What makes you think everyone should shoulder your risks?" Zachary Kane's gaze was sharp. "Today, all shareholders will vote according to their equity."
"All in favor of dismissing Lucas Lowery from his positions as Chairman and CEO, raise your hands."
Arms shot up in the air, uniform and decisive.
The overwhelming majority left no room for suspense.
"The vote is effective immediately. From this moment on, Lucas is no longer the Chairman and CEO of the group. All his authority is terminated. The company seals, access rights, and documents will be handed over to the temporary transition team at once."
"Furthermore, the company reserves the right to pursue full financial compensation and legal liability against him."
Every word slammed down like a heavy hammer.
Sitting at the head of the table, Lucas gripped the edge so hard his knuckles turned white.
At this moment, he was being mercilessly discarded by the very empire he had built from the ground up.
Back then, to appease the buddies who had fought alongside him to build Vortex Group, he had given them five percent of the shares. He never expected that generosity to become the final straw that crushed him today.
As Zachary walked past him, he lowered his voice. "If Mr. Lowery has nothing else pressing, you can leave once the handover is complete."
After Zachary left, the others filed out of the boardroom.
The minority shareholders looked guilty as they walked past him.
"Lucas, we're really sorry, but our hands were tied."
"You shouldn't have crossed Titan Holdings. They intentionally set you up."
"You should think hard about what you did to piss off Titan Holdings in the past."
Zachary personally oversaw the handover and watched Lucas leave the building before pulling out his phone.
"Mr. Howard, Lucas has been ousted. The handover is complete, and we will now proceed to systematically dilute his remaining shares."
