Claimed by the Crown Heir novel Chapter 146

The bodyguards at the door didn't budge an inch, and two more men rushed down the stairs, trapping her in the center of the room.

Panic washed over her face, though she tried to sound fierce. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Giselle, I prefer to keep business civil. I don't want to make things difficult, so don't force my hand." Victor picked up the tablet, walked over, and shoved it toward her with a hollow smile. "Make the transfer, and you can leave with the goods."

"I am not transferring a dime!"

Giselle swung her arm wildly, slapping the tablet out of his hand. It shattered against the floor.

Victor's face went completely dark. He raised his hand and delivered a vicious slap.

Smack!

The sharp crack echoed through the room. The sheer force of the blow made Giselle's head spin, and she crashed heavily onto the floor, her cheek swelling instantly.

Her mind went entirely blank, leaving her completely stunned.

Victor's icy voice hissed in her ear. "Bring her another tablet."

A subordinate immediately fetched a new tablet and held it out to her again.

"I won't do it! Victor, you laid a hand on me—I'll make you pay for this!"

As the pampered second daughter of the Grant family, she had lived a life of luxury and arrogant entitlement. Never in her life had she suffered such brutal humiliation.

"Oh? I'd love to see how exactly you plan to make me pay." Victor sneered, his eyes filled with contempt. "The Grant family? You think I give a damn about them?"

"You bastard!"

Giselle scrambled to her feet and lunged at him like a madwoman, swinging her fists wildly.

A flash of ruthlessness crossed Victor's eyes as he delivered a merciless kick straight to her stomach.

Giselle flew backward like a broken doll, clutching her stomach. Her face turned as pale as a ghost, and she couldn't summon the strength to get back up.
