Chapter 305
Eiten was in disbelief when he learned what Maximus had done to him. He shook his head in desperation. If it was someone else, he would have come to them and drag them out to work, but it was the king and he couldn’t be too brazen.
Moreover, he knew what Maximus would do the whole day with Rania, especially when they just made up after a fight. He wouldn’t want to be near them. Poor those warriors, who had guarded the bedroom.
“Where is the king?” Marc asked. He was the princess Abigail’s older brother, the heir to the throne of Crescent River Kingdom.
After the fallen of the Barlukan kingdom and this was under Maximus’s reign, therefore, their border was next to each other and this prince was so eager to talk about that.
“The king is currently very busy, if you have something to talk about, you can discuss it with me,” Eiten said lightly. He was busy to check on everything because some of the envoys from the other kingdoms had arrived ahead of time before the kings and queens from the other five kingdoms were here.
“But this is an important matter,” prince Marc looked unhappy when he heard Eiten’s explanation, h gamma was trying to sabotage him.
thought the royal
The prince was five years younger than Eiten, but he acted like a spoiled little prince. You could tell from the way he furrowed his brows because he didn’t get what he wanted.
Well, the Crescent River Kingdom was a small and a peaceful kingdom, the only fight this prince had ever gone to was the training.
“Prince Marc, show some respect. You are here as an envoy for your kingdom, if there is an important thing that king Maximus should know, it should be your father, king Edward, who relays that.” Eiten stared down at the prince.
If you went by status, of course, Eiten’s was lower than the prince, but no one could deny the strong presence that the royal gamma exuded. He managed to make the young prince averted his eyes and then walked away without saying anything.
And with that, Eiten continued with his busy day because Maximus ditched his responsibility to be with his mate.
On the other hand, the king indeed indulged himself within his mate…
“I can’t…” Rania whimpered when she got her release for… she lost count how many times Maximus did her.
“Really?” Maximus breathed heavily against her skin, as he found his release too and collapsed on top of her.
He used his elbows to support his body, lest he crushed his
mate.
“You are insane…” Rania pinched his waist, but his legs still wrapped around him. “That’s enough…”
“Hm.” Maximus licked the sweat on Rania’s neck. “The last time I recalled, you didn’t complain when I started it.”
Rania hit his back this time, but she had no word to deny it, because that was right. She let him… if only she had the same stamina like him… it would be great.
“Yeah, I agree with you, it will be great.” Maximus kissed her forehead and chuckled.
“What?” Rania widened her eyes in shocked, she didn’t mean for Maximus to read her dirty thought, she must be very tired, that’s why she couldn’t block her mind. “Don’t read my mind.”
Maximus laughed even more,
he pulled away from her, which made Rania flinched slightly. “I will not be able to read your mind if you don’t allow me to.” He lay down on his side and pulled his mate closer to him.

Chapter 305
“I don’t allow you.” Rania pursed her lips, which only tempted Maximus to bite on it. “Don’t bite me.” Rania bit him back.
“Careful, love, you are going to make me excited again,” Maximus said between his laughter. Of course, Rania’s bite was not painful at all, but he had to warn her. “Unless, you want it again.”
“No.”
“Promise, I will be gentle.”
“No!” Rania moved away from Maximus, but he pulled her back.
“Where are you going?” Maximus was in a good mood to see how red Rania’s face was. He could live lazily like this with his for the rest of his existence.
It was not so bad not to have a child. He could have his mate for himself without the need to share her with anyone else, including their child if they had one.
It was great.
“I want to clean myself, I am very sweaty.” Rania wriggled her body, but instead, Maximus pulled her against his chest and then carried her up. “Max! What do you want to do?”
Maximus grinned. “I am going to clean you up. I have to take responsibility for making you this sweaty, right? I shouldn’t have tired you out like this, my bad.”
Rania scrunched her nose. “That’s the most insincere apology that I have ever heard.”
“Well, I can show you how sincere I am, though.”
“Don’t you dare!”
Rania laughed when she saw the look on his face. She was so happy. The problem they had earlier didn’t see so bad right
now.

She was sure that she would be fine, as long as she had him in her life. As long as he was with her, she would be fine. King or not, Maximus would always be her mate and now Rania had accepted her fate…
For the rest of that day, both of them indulged themselves with each other, as they only allowed someone to bring their foods. They didn’t step out of the room at all.
But, the next day, they couldn’t afford to do that, because the kings and queens from the five kingdoms were here, they arrived almost at the same time and Maximus and Rania had to greet them.
They arrived in their fancy cars and with a long entourage, it looked grandiose.
“What a show off,” Eiten whispered to Rania.
