Eli tried to keep her smile, but it was so hard, because she was not used to fake her feeling. Her expression would show how she felt and what she thought, since the people in the Barlukan kingdom didn’t care about it, therefore she could express herself without problem.

But now, it was different. Every interaction felt very fake and she had to keep up with her pretense.

“This is the Moon Goddess’s blessing, there should be a change in power in this kingdom and king Maximus comes at the right time,” Eli replied. She tried to be vague, and kept up with the topic, but princess Agness seemed to test her intelligence by asking a few specific questions that shouldn’t be asked in the first place.

“It must be great to have the royal gamma as your mate, right? I heard you came from omega, am I right?” Princess Agness looked like she was asking about the weather, instead of asking about a sensitive topic.

Hearing the last statement, Eli saw red, she turned her head and glared at the princess, something that even Eli didn’t think was possible for her to do.
