“Anything for you, love.” Maximus held her closer and deepened their kiss.

In the front gate, there were a few cars already waited for them. Eli and Bella already occupied one car, while the other would be used for their warriors.

A senior warriors would stay here and check the situation, he would be in charge for this new part of their kingdom.

“Is it, okay?” Rania felt bad for him. “I meant, you have a lot of things to handle, but you chose this route, will it be alright? Shouldn’t you have to be in the kingdom as soon as possible?”

“Deepsea pack?” Rania stopped him. “We are going to Deepsea pack?”

Rania shook her head. “I think I have told you about this before…” She then told Maximus about Lucian’s origin, and about how he could get to the Aspen kingdom, about his mother that he told her. “Can we stay there for a day?”

“Aren’t you listening to me?” Rania hit Maximus’s chest lightly. “I want Lucian to look for his mother, probably… she is still here…”

Maximus caressed Rania’s head, he loved this woman with all of his heart, but she could be very optimistic. “Fine, but only a day.”

“Really?” Rania was surprised that Maximus would agree with her easily. “You are the best king, Lucian must be very happy to hear this.”

“I don’t mean to do it to make Lucian happy, I want to do it because I want to see you happy.” Maximus cupped her face. “I want you to always be happy. I only want to see this happiness on your face because it suits you well.”

Rania grinned. “You are the best for me. I am very happy.”

The next day when they were about to leave, Rania told Lucian about it.

“You can look for your mother and if you found her, take her with us,” Rania said with excitement. “You can take Cam with you too. Do you need more warrior? Don’t bother, I will order five warriors to go with you.”

Seeing this, Rania was surprised, she immediately tried to stop Lucian, but he wouldn’t listen to her. Right now, the other warriors were staring at them too.

“I pledge my loyalty to you, my queen. My life is yours,” Lucian said solemnly.

“Please, get up, Lucian. You don’t need to do this, I didn’t do anything.” Rania crouched down as well, she didn’t do anything, but gave him a day to search for his mother.

A day was not enough in Rania’s opinion, especially to look for someone, it would take more than that, but that was the only time limit that Maximus had given.
