Chapter 431 The Wedding Date Is Set
Finished
Lucy quickly took a bouquet of flowers prepared in advance from a bodyguard and handed it to Julian. “You can’t propose without flowers,” she said, pressing the blooms into his arms. “Hurry and give them to Quinn.”
Fresh blossoms lined every corner of the alley. Julian only had one hour to finish all the decorations, far less time than he had planned. He had originally prepared a far more grand proposal scene. Since he had already restored this old alley to its old look for Quinn, any later surprise would lose its charm. Hence he rushed his staff to finish all arrangements in a hurry. Still, he could tell from Quinn’s reaction that she was utterly touched.
Julian handed the flowers over to her. Quinn pulled him to his feet and leaned in to press a light kiss on his lips. Julian held her tightly in his arms, his heart full of contentment. She belonged to him completely now, and no one could ever take her away again.
Right after the proposal, they decided to get their marriage license right away. Julian bid farewell to the elders and drove straight to the city hall with Quinn. Neither of them planned to sign any property notarization documents, so they finished all formalities smoothly.
The moment they got their official marriage papers, Julian took them away before Quinn could even glance them over.
“I’ll keep these safe,” he said.
“I haven’t even had a proper look yet,” Quinn smiled.
“You can check them later.” Julian cupped her face gently. “And you have to ask me for permission before taking them out.”
“One license is mine, can’t I keep it?” Quinn asked softly.
“No,” Julian insisted. “I’m keeping both.”
Quinn hugged him tenderly. “Fine, keep them all then.”
“I love you, Quinn.”
“I love you too, Julian.”
Julian stared at her with deep affection and lowered his head to kiss her softly.
They set their wedding for August, just over a month away. Julian was not satisfied with such a short wait, yet he dared not complain, for the date was chosen by Xenia. Mark also hoped their daughter could delay\ the wedding for another year or two, or just stay engaged for the time being.
However, Xenia had booked a top-tier wedding dress designer who was free during this period to customize gowns for Quinn. After asking for Quinn’s consent, she confirmed the wedding date firmly, Julian’s parents had no objections and soon worked with Mark and Xenia to sort out all wedding plans. Julian kept his thoughts to himself, never daring to oppose Xenia. Mark was even more docile, always spoiling his wife in every way.

had fully recovered her health after being discharged. Julian had restrained himself for days, and on this special day they got officially married, he could no longer hold back his longing.
Quinn slept straight through until the afternoon the next day. She picked up her phone and saw messages from Julian, telling her to contact him once she woke up. Lucy also left a message asking her to call back.
She sent Julian a cute emoji first, then dialed Lucy’s number.
“Finally awake?” Lucy teased. “I knew Julian wouldn’t let you rest wet! last night, so I didn’t disturb you two.” “Don’t talk nonsense.” Quinn quickly changed the topic. “What’s up?”
“Chase called me,” Lucy said. “Rosalie heard you found your birth parents, and they want to meet you.”
“There is no need for that,” Quinn replied calmly. “My reunion with my real family has nothing to do with them.”
After all, it was only Victor and Elaine who had raised her, not Rosalie.
“That’s what I told them too,” Lucy said. “But Rosalie said her parents also wish to see you.”
Quinn already had their contact information. “I will get in touch with them myself.”
“Don’t feel pressured,” Lucy comforted her. “You don’t owe them anything.”
“I know that.”
As soon as she ended the call, Julian rang her up immediately.
“Did you have a good rest? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?”
