Chapter 428 Julian, I’ll Marry You
Finished:
“You’ll come with me?” Quinn-thought for a moment, then shook her head. “No, that won’t work. You’re too busy with work.”
“I won’t let you go alone,” Julian said firmly. “We’ve finally gotten together, and I won’t be apart from you again.”
“You’re acting just like what Lucy calls a ‘love fool, Quinn teased.
“So what if I am?” Julian pouted like a child. “You can’t ignore me just because you’ve found your parents.”
“I never would.” Quinn laughed. “Don’t overthink it. There are seven days a week-I’ll spend two days with them, and the other five with you.”
“But all seven days used to be mine,” Julian complained, feeling wronged. “What if… we ask them to move to Lakeshore City?”
“Is that even possible?” Quinn asked. “Dad’s business is so big, right? They’ve lived in Voss City for so many years-how could they easily move here?”
“I think we can talk about it,” Julian said. “We aren’t married yet. If you go back to live with them, they’ll definitely refuse to let me come along. So, Quinn, there’s another solution-we get married.”
Quinn stared at him quietly.
“This isn’t a whim,” Julian said seriously. “I want to marry you, Quinn. You’ve met my parents, and they love you. Also, about your accident-I promise nothing like that will ever happen again.”
“Don’t blame yourself,” Quinn comforted him. “It wasn’t your fault. The car crash was an accident.”
“It was my fault for not protecting you well enough,” Julian insisted.
“Okay.”
Julian froze. “W-what?”
“Julian, I’ll marry you.”
Julian was dumbfounded, almost thinking he was hallucinating.
Quinn squeezed his fingers gently. “Are you stupid?”
r
“Quinn?” Julian’s breath quickened. “Are you serious? Did I hear right? You said… okay? You’ll marry me?”
“If you didn’t hear clearly, I’ll take it back–”
“No!” Julian grabbed her hand tightly. “I heard it! You agreed, and you can’t back out! Quinn, once you’re discharged, we’ll go get our marriage license! We’ll start planning the wedding right away-I want everyone to know you’re willing to marry me!”
Quinn nodded with a smile. “Okay.”

Julian pressed her hand to his face, his eyes turning red. “Thank you, Quinn.”
“I should thank you too, Quinn said softly. “Thank you for loving me so much and giving me a home.””
“We’ll never be separated again,” Julian said. “No one can tear us apart-not ever your parents.”
Quinn nodded.
Julian hesitated for a moment. “Should… should you tell them we’re getting married?”
“I’ll tell them,” Quinn said.
“Will they object?”
“No,” Quinn replied confidently. “You’re so excellent-what reason would they have to say no?”
“Can you call them right now?” Julian asked eagerly.
Quinn didn’t expect him to be in such a hurry.
Julian fell silent for a few seconds. “Never mind, that’s not a good idea…”
He was being too impulsive, too eager to prove to Mark that Quinn loved him deeply.
Quinn pulled her hand away from his.
Julian reached out to grab it instinctively.
“I’m just getting my phone,” Quinn said.
Julian let go, still in a daze.
Quinn picked up her phone. Xenia had already given her their number and added her as a friend earlier.
She dialed the number.
When Xenia saw the call, she exclaimed happily, “It’s Quinn!”
Mark leaned over at once, wanting to listen in. It was their daughter’s first call to them!
“Mom,” Quinn said, taking a deep breath before speaking. To be honest, she still felt a little awkward calling her that, yet she truly liked Mark and Xenia. The bond of blood made her feel safe and eager to get closer to them.
“Yes, Quinn!” Xenia had been waiting quietly just to hear her call.
Mark quickly chipped in. “Quinn, it’s me too!”
“Dad,” Quinn called him, then asked. “Have you gotten back to the hotel yet?”
“Not yet,” Xenia said. “We’re almost there. Don’t worry, I’ll let you know when we arrive.”

“Mom, Dad, there’s something I want to tell you.”
“What is it. Quinn?” Mark asked anxiously.
“Mom, Dad, I’m going to marry Julian.”
Xenia froze in surprise.

Mark spoke up immediately, trying hard to keep his voice gentle. “What did you say? Why the sudden decision? You two… you haven’t been together that long…”
He was holding back his anger. His first thought was that Julian must have pressured her into agreeing.
“Because I love him, and I want to spend the rest of my life with him,” Quinn said. “Mom, Dad, I hope you can bless us.”
Xenia actually liked Julian quite a lot. He was an excellent match for Quinn in every way-no scandals, no complicated relationships. For that alone, Xenia would agree.
