Divorce Me I'm Done Serving You (Ayla and Troy) novel Chapter 912

When Blake got to the office, she automatically asked her assistant, Kaia Valor, to make her an iced coffee, just like always.

But when Kaia brought it to her desk, it was hot coffee instead.

Blake took a sip and immediately noticed something was off. She frowned and looked at Kaia. "What is this?"

Kaia replied, "There's no iced coffee today."

Blake didn't even have to think to know who was behind it.

Kaia asked, "Do you want me to order one for delivery?"

"Yeah."

They might not let her drink iced coffee at the office, but Blake could always order it herself. Herman's reach wasn't that long.

Still, he really was sticking his nose into her business. And as far as Blake remembered, Herman had never cared about little things like this.

Yet now he was actually paying attention. Could it be that he really wanted to take care of her? Had he truly decided to give this relationship a serious try?

Blake had worked with Herman for years and had never seen him show much enthusiasm toward any woman.

People always said Herman was a gentleman. But his kind of gentleman behavior came with a touch of pride and distance—it was simply good manners, not heartfelt emotion. He didn't seem like the type who would take care of someone, and he definitely wasn't the nagging type. And with how busy he was, the fact that he had found time to worry about one small cup of coffee was surprising. For someone like him, it seemed like a lot of effort for such a small thing.

Blake had become a little curious about Herman. It was a small discovery, and she felt she needed to keep watching him a little longer.

...

Several executives were about to give a work report to Draven. Normally, they would all gather in the President's office first.

But things between Blake and Herman were a little different now, so he came to her office ahead of time.

"Why are you here?" Blake asked.

Herman replied, "There are still ten minutes before the meeting. I wanted to come see you."

Blake frowned. "See me for what? What's there to see?"

"You," Herman said. "You're beautiful."

Blake was someone whose mind was always on work. She couldn't understand how Herman, who used to care only about work, had suddenly changed so much.

Leaning back in her chair, she raised an eyebrow and studied the man who suddenly felt unfamiliar. "You've changed a lot. Just because you want to give us a try, can you really change this much?"
