Divorce me I'm done serving you (Ayla) novel Chapter 773

Kaleb had been mistaken for some celebrity by fangirls before, so he barely reacted.

He put on an eye mask and earplugs and went to sleep.

Aside from when the flight attendant woke him up for a meal, he slept the entire time.

By the time he finally woke up, the plane had landed in Eldoria.

Kaleb dragged his suitcase off the plane, and the girl who had asked him for an autograph earlier showed up again.

Kaleb frowned at the girl, who only reached his chest, and asked, "Didn't you say you had the wrong person?"

He was in a hurry, and she was blocking his way.

"Can I get your WhatsApp?" The girl's face was flushed red.

Kaleb had always been popular at school, and getting confessed to was nothing new, so he was used to it. Without hesitation, he said, "Sorry, I don't like girls."

The girl was stunned speechless by his reply.

"Can you move aside please?"

The girl snapped out of it and quickly stepped aside. "S-sorry!"

God, what a waste. Such a gorgeous guy, and he likes men? That's heartbreaking!

Kaleb Keaton walked off without looking back.

This business trip was very important for him. The company's new AAA game was about to launch globally. It would be showcased in advance at the Global Game Developers Conference. Many gaming fans were already paying attention to their game. There would be a lot of people coming to try it out, and the whole company took it very seriously.

Emmett and the rest of the team had already arrived earlier.

When Kaleb went to meet them, the driver there took a wrong turn and drove to the wrong location.

Kaleb was already irritated, and it wasn't easy to get a cab there, so in the end, he shared one with a girl who looked like she walked out of an art studio.

When they got out of the car, Kaleb dropped a document. The girl had the driver chase after him to return it.

Kaleb glanced at her and said thanks.

Then, he finally met up with Emmett.

"What are you, a turtle? Took you forever!" Emmett couldn't help taking a jab at him.

Kaleb snorted. "If you had sent a car to pick me up, I wouldn't have wasted so much time going in circles."

As best friends, they were used to roasting each other.

This business trip was too important for the company. Emmett didn't keep arguing and instead looked both excited and nervous. "It starts in two days. What if no one shows up to try it?"

The game developed by Kaleb and Emmett's company, Dimensia Labs, titled "Solitude: Classic of Mountains and Seas," had been announced a long time ago. With its dynamic ink-style visuals and core gameplay rooted in Drakorian culture, many gaming streamers in the industry had already promoted it on their own. The released trailers had received great reviews, and it had already gained a solid fan base.

Yeah, right. Dream on.

Emmett rolled his eyes. "Yeah, right!"

That afternoon, Kaleb, Emmett, and their team met with the event organizer and had some discussions.

The organizer gave them the best spot, which showed they had high expectations for the game. It had the highest popularity, and people in the industry believed that if this game succeeded, it would mark the rise of Drakorian-style games.

After all, it was a large-scale game developed by a group of young people over four years, with nearly one billion invested. It couldn't possibly be bad.

It was a positive sign. Kaleb and Emmett were still young bosses and couldn't contain their excitement. That night, they wanted to blow off some steam, so they went to a local bar.

They were only there to drink, though.

At one point, Emmett went to the restroom. When he came back, his expression looked off.

Kaleb asked, "What's wrong?"

Emmett shook his head. "Did I drink too much? Did I see wrong? There's no way it's such a coincidence."

The look on Emmett's face made it clear that whoever he saw wasn't someone good. Kaleb frowned. "Who did you see?"

Emmett looked at his friend. "Bria."

When Bria was first mentioned, Emmett had thought Kaleb had offended her with his blunt personality, and he even found it a bit amusing.
