Chapter 255 Remarry
“Mr. Torres, even if your family owns half of Washington, you can’t humiliate and torture me like this,” Bryce
snarled. “What you’re doing only proves Riley still has feelings for me.”
Then he turned to Riley. “I know you’re the type who takes time to warm up. We dated for a year and were married for three.
“Those feelings don’t just vanish overnight—and there’s no way you could’ve fallen for Sebastian this fast. If he’s threatening you, I can-”
“Bryce, how long are you going to keep lying to yourself?” Riley cut him off.
“Yes, I had feelings for you once–otherwise I wouldn’t have married you. But they died completely over those three years of married hell.”
Her voice was eerily calm–and that calmness sent panic. racing through Bryce’s chest.

boyfriend now. I’m going to marry him and have his children. As for you–keep harassing me, and the Torres family’s top legal team will have you locked up for weeks.”
Pain throbbed in Bryce’s arm, radiating through his whole body. He couldn’t tell if it was the break or her words tearing him apart.
“Marriage… children…” he muttered.
They’d been married three years–they should have had children together.
“Do you really have no feelings left for me at all?” he asked desperately.
“None. Zero.” Her voice was ice. “Bryce, are you going to get lost or not?”
Her tone—and the look in her eyes—made it clear that if he stayed, she might actually lay hands on him.
Sweat beaded his forehead as he stared at his mangled right arm.
Fine, I’ll go. I get it now—I finally understand you’re1the0

“That day will never come,” Riley said, her voice cutting like a blade.
“Get the hell out before I beat you myself!” Lara snapped.
Bryce gritted his teeth and turned to leave, his pride shattered along with his arm.
Lara called out to the security guard downstairs. “If you see this bastard lurking around the building again, call the cops immediately.”
“Yes, Ms. Hayes,” the guard replied.
Riley turned to Lara with an apologetic look. “Sorry for bringing this mess to the office.”
“Are you kidding me? Bryce is the shameless one here. He divorced you, spent years screwing you over and shielding Bella, and now he’s got the nerve to come crawling back?
“Please. He doesn’t love you–he’s in love with the idea of his ‘savior.‘ If some old granny had dragged him out of that wreck, he’d probably be sending her flowers and calling her the love of his life.”

“Anyway, since Mr. Torres is here to pick you up, you should head home,” Lara said.
Riley nodded and slipped into the car with Sebastian.
“You really won’t take Bryce back?” Sebastian asked out of nowhere as they drove.
“Of course not. The moment I decided on divorce, I was done with him for good,” Riley said without hesitation.
“Even if he begged on his knees?” he pressed.
Riley shot him a puzzled look. “What, do you actually want me to get back together with him?”
“No!” Sebastian replied instantly. “I just…” He broke off, lips pressed into a thin line.
Seeing Bryce so pathetic earlier had stirred an unsettling thought—
If Riley ever wanted to leave him, would she be just as merciless?
“Relax,” Riley said, thinking he was worried she still Hapo
