**Chapter 32: What a Coincidence!**
As the afternoon sun cast a warm glow, Claire and Amanda exchanged glances that sparkled with excitement, their eyes lighting up like stars in a night sky.
Riley, standing there with a mixture of determination and anxiety, was on a mission. She needed to return the outfit that Sebastian had gifted her during their trip to the mall—a beautiful piece that had unfortunately been marred by an unfortunate incident involving blood.
Her initial plan was simple: to drop the dress off at the gates of Torres Manor and hand it over to one of the staff members to pass along to Sebastian. However, fate had other plans. Instead of a mere handoff, the Torres family’s butler, Dunstan Norris, appeared before her. With a polite yet firm demeanor, he stated, “Mr. Torres is currently away in Washington. He has instructed me to inform you that if Ms. Anderson wishes to return the outfit, it must be done in person.”
The words hung in the air, and Riley’s brow furrowed in confusion and frustration. “So, when can I expect him back?” she inquired, her voice tinged with impatience.
Dunstan replied, “He should be back in a couple of days.”
With a sigh, Riley left Torres Manor, her mind swirling with thoughts as she made her way to Blue Sky Tech.

Upon entering the office, Lara’s eyes immediately landed on the outfit Riley clutched in her hands, and she raised an eyebrow in curiosity. “What’s that you’ve got there?” she asked, a teasing lilt in her voice.
“It’s Sebastian’s. I’m just returning it,” Riley explained, her tone casual, though the weight of the situation loomed over her. “But he insists that I return it to him face-to-face.”
Lara leaned back in her chair, a smirk playing on her lips. “Do you think there’s something more to it? I mean, who asks for their clothes back in person? It sounds like he’s just looking for an excuse to see you again.”
Riley rolled her eyes, exasperated. “Oh please, Lara. You make it sound like catching Sebastian’s attention is some kind of prize.”
But Lara shivered at the thought, her mind flashing back to the whispers and rumors that surrounded Sebastian. “On second thought, maybe it’s best I stay out of that mess. I value my life too much, thank you very much.”
The tales of Sebastian’s temper were enough to chill anyone to the bone. One wrong move around him, and you could find yourself in a world of trouble—either wishing you were dead or simply regretting your choices.
“By the way, there’s a party in three days. Sebastian will be there, and I got an invite too. You should come with me,” Lara suggested, her enthusiasm bubbling over.
Riley paused, considering the offer. After a moment, she nodded. “Yeah, that sounds good.”
It was clear that she needed to return the outfit sooner rather than later. The quicker she returned it, the cleaner the break would be. A nagging intuition whispered to her, urging her to steer clear of Sebastian.
Three days later, as the evening of the party approached, Lara was adamant about getting Riley into a formal dress.
“Come on! You can’t just return the dress in jeans and a t-shirt. You need to look stunning!” Riley protested, her resolve wavering.
“Absolutely you do! You have no clue how breathtaking you look when you dress up. Bryce must be blind to overlook a wife like you just to hang around Bella all day,” Lara quipped, a hint of mischief in her tone.
