"It has nothing to do with him," Juniper said, tossing him a reassuring look.

"Mhm." Shanley lifted his chin, looking entirely vindicated.

Her siblings' mouths twitched. Look at him, practically glowing with smugness.

"About this situation..." Juniper began, but her phone suddenly rang.

It was Michael.

She answered and put it on speaker, letting his voice fill the room.

"Kiddo, the DNA report is back. The man Sanctum Holdings is holding... he really is your father."

Even though she had already suspected it, hearing the confirmation out loud made her heart violently clench.

The siblings whipped their heads toward her, eyes wide with pure shock.

"Got it," Juniper replied quietly. "Thanks." She hung up.

Setting the phone down, she looked at the stunned faces across the room. A bitter, melancholic smile touched her lips. "Aren't you going to ask how I knew?"

The document clearly stated a 99% match.

"The woman locked in the cell next to him is his wife. That means she's our mother." Juniper's throat felt dry, a faint tremor in her voice. "She even spoke to me..."

"So, what's your next move?" Harold asked. Since the cat was out of the bag, there was no point pretending. "Sanctum's ultimate target is you."

"Save our parents, save Celine, and burn Sanctum Holdings to the ground." Juniper's eyes hardened as she spoke each word with lethal precision. "That's the plan."

The method didn't matter. Only the result did.

"Juniper." Ebony Fox stepped forward, shoving Shanley out of the way to take her hands. "We were thinking..."
