"Son, are you serious?" Theia retrieved the fallen fruit, suppressing the shock bubbling in her chest as she asked in a remarkably calm voice.

"What if I am?" Jimmie lifted his gaze, his handsome features completely earnest. "Could you and Dad accept it?"
