"My fault," Jimmie spoke up, his expression dark and serious. "I couldn't control my feelings. I fell for Luella, and I was the one who forced the kiss."

Juniper pressed her lips together, speechless. She never would have guessed that someone as usually calm and collected as Jimmie would forcefully kiss someone. Looks could certainly be deceiving.

Juniper choked, almost speechless. "Jimmie said he likes men. Luella, you turned him. What are your plans now? Tell him the truth or what?"

"I don't plan on being with him." The smile faded from Luella's face, her tone turning serious. "Juniper, you know my identity cannot be exposed. Furthermore, his career cannot afford a scandal like me. We are on completely different paths. Juniper, tell him to let this go." Luella sat in the chair, hanging her head in defeat.
