Don't Mess with the Girl with Candy novel Chapter 1328

Luella thought about it for a second, and realized he was absolutely right.

In her eyes.

Shanley Schwartz was basically Juniper's lapdog. He wagged his tail at her command and meticulously handled every detail of her life.

Tch.

Now she had a lapdog of her own.

After freshening up.

Jimmie carried Luella back to bed and grabbed the hair dryer.

Since her hair was cut short, it only took two or three minutes to dry completely.

"Want to sleep a bit longer?"

Putting the hair dryer down, Jimmie wrapped his arms around her, burying his chin in the crook of her neck.

"Huh?"

Luella instantly flinched away, pure terror flashing in her eyes. "Again?!"

"What are you thinking about?"

Jimmie pulled the duvet over them, pulling her firmly against his chest. "We're not doing anything. Just resting."

"Oh."

Luella let out a huge breath of relief, snuggling her face against his chest. She muttered, "We still haven't told Juniper about us."

"Do you want to tell her?" Jimmie kissed her left earlobe, right over her dazzling ruby stud.

"Not yet."

Luella closed her eyes, her brow furrowed in distress. "I haven't figured out how to explain this to her."

"Explain what?" Jimmie didn't understand.

"Think about it."

Luella huffed, rolling over to glare at him indignantly. "I used to be her loyal sidekick. Now I've suddenly leveled up to being her sister-in-law? How the hell did that happen?"

Was Juniper going to have to call her 'Sister-in-law' now?

Even if Juniper was willing to say it, Luella was absolutely terrified to answer to it.

"Is that it?" Jimmie's lips curved upward. He gazed at her flawless face, his voice deep and soothing. "Don't worry. She won't be mad."

"Hmph."

Luella shut her eyes, refusing to engage with him further.

A few seconds of silence passed.

Then, her eyes flew open, her tone suddenly turning deadly serious. "Jimmie, you need to get out of Stellara Country as soon as possible."
