Don't Mess with the Girl with Candy novel Chapter 1364

"I am getting a little hungry, actually."

Harold massaged the back of his neck, purposefully interrupting their PDA.

"What would you like, Dr. Houston?" Shanley curled his lips, his tone unhurried. "I'll have Dana make it for you."

Harold rolled his eyes. This guy was supposed to be some terrifying underworld boss, but right now he was just his sister's lapdog.

"I heard you caught Nadia. What did you do with her?" Harold changed the subject.

"Yeah."

Shanley placed a glass of water next to Juniper and replied casually, "Just sent her to where she belongs."

Where she belongs?

Harold froze for a few seconds before he quickly realized what that meant.

It was brutal, but she absolutely deserved it.

"As for Yolanda, I'll leave her to you," Shanley said, gently massaging Juniper's shoulders.

"Alright."

Juniper stood up and looked at Harold. "Harold, sleep in the guest room tonight. We'll finish the data tomorrow."

"Got it. Go get some rest," Harold agreed. But instead of leaving, he sat in front of the computer all night.

The internet was still relentlessly tearing into Juniper and their parents. The sooner they got the results, the sooner they could clear their names.

Sometime later.

The door pushed open again, and Shanley walked in carrying a late-night snack.

"Your favorite sandwich. Made it myself."

"Thanks, Shanley." Harold offered a tired but triumphant smile. "Is Juniper asleep?"

"Yeah."

Shanley pulled up a chair beside him and asked, "Any progress?"

"Yeah."

Taking a bite of his food, Harold replied, "Mom and Dad are helping out on their end too. Just a few more days and we'll be able to extract the original genetic code."

It was happening far ahead of their estimated schedule.

"Good."

Shanley nodded. "We have a lead on Moira Saxon, too. She's still alive."
