Don't Mess with the Girl with Candy novel Chapter 891

Shanley had been alive for twenty-nine years, and he’d never felt so wronged. Seriously. It was just too much.

“That’s it?” Juniper asked placidly after listening patiently to his whole rant.

“‘That’s it?’” Shanley’s voice shot up. He wanted to lose his temper, but he was afraid of scaring her. “I’m going out to the balcony for some air.”

He gave her a deep look and started to get up, silently repeating a mantra in his head: *I’m the one who spoils her. I’m the one who spoils her.*

But just as he moved, she pressed him back down. The girl’s hands were on his shoulders, her beautiful face leaning close to his. Her long, thick lashes fluttered like a playful little pixie’s wings.

“What’s wrong?” Shanley sat obediently, even wrapping a hand around her waist to steady her in case she fell. He huffed, “Go on, keep provoking me. Once you’ve angered me to death, who’s going to be your personal sleep—”

The word “pillow” never left his lips. The girl’s warm lips suddenly descended, pressing against his. They were warm and sweet.

“The show is over.” Juniper’s fingertips traced the sharp contours of his face. “I’ll make us official.”

“Really?” Shanley grabbed her hand, his voice thick with excitement. “You promise?”

Juniper paused, her brow furrowing deeply. “Do I make you feel that insecure?”

“Yeah,” Shanley admitted, nuzzling against her chin like a sad puppy. “My girlfriend’s too perfect. I’m afraid someone else will snatch you away.”

“Alright.” Juniper raised an eyebrow, leaned in, and smiled. “Keep up the good work, and in two days, I’ll make you my official boyfriend.”

The atmosphere shifted, growing charged. Just as Shanley was about to make another move, a knock came at the door. His dear mother’s voice called out, “Juniper, are you in your room?”

“Your mom’s here,” Juniper whispered, startled. She quickly pushed him away, straightened her clothes, and opened the door.

Seeing Shanley in the room, then glancing at Juniper’s flushed lips, Miranda’s expression flickered. “Oh, uh… I’ll come back later. You two… carry on.”

Juniper was speechless.

[“Yolanda is so fake. Could this stuff possibly be worse than horse manure?”]

[“Hahaha, that forgotten trauma just resurfaced.”]

[“The other guests are all great, working hard to promote the farmers’ products. Except for the one who ate manure.”]

[“OMG, whatever Juniper is eating looks so good! I want some!”]

Before long, the local products were trending, and people flooded the official online store to buy them. Everything Juniper had tasted sold out completely.

In the break area, Yolanda scrolled through her phone. Her fingers tightened as she read all the praise for Juniper online, especially since it was always paired with criticism of her.

If it weren’t for Juniper, she would have been the one in the spotlight.

At that thought, Yolanda sent an anonymous tip to a paparazzi account: [Movie Star’s sister, Juniper, is juggling three men.]
