Don't Mess with the Girl with Candy novel Chapter 914

In the room.

Warren and Celine anxiously awaited the final verdict.

Fearing Warren might have bad intentions toward her baby, Celine kept a safe distance from him.

Warren felt a mix of emotions but didn't dare provoke her.

A short while later.

Juniper walked out of the medical suite holding the medical report.

"How is it?"

Warren rushed forward immediately, his face etched with worry. "Will the baby affect her health?"

"And if it does?"

Juniper lowered her voice, testing him.

"Between the baby and Celine, I will absolutely choose Celine," Warren stated without hesitation. "To me, no one compares to her, not even our child."

"Let's see."

Upon hearing his answer, Juniper nodded in satisfaction, her tone lightening up. "Currently, neither the mother nor the baby has any issues."

"Given the unique condition of my sister's health, she'll definitely need more frequent checkups than a regular pregnant woman."

Before Warren could voice any further concerns, Juniper added, "With me around, I won't let any accidents happen."

"Thank you."

Warren apologized sincerely.

"Thank my sister," Juniper muttered, her voice slightly husky. "It's a good thing the baby won't harm her, or else I would've kicked you."

"You can kick me now, too." Warren offered humbly.

"I'm just afraid it would make my sister cry."

Otherwise.

He'd be foolish to think she wouldn't actually do it.

"Juniper..." Celine, who had been waiting by the door, hurried over at this moment.

Her eyes were fixed on Juniper, eagerly awaiting the answer.

"You're fine."

Juniper reached out to gently touch Celine's stomach, speaking softly. "The baby is sprouting and growing strong right inside you."

"So..."

Celine excitedly grabbed Juniper's hand, too overwhelmed to form proper sentences. Her red eyes welled with tears. "I can keep him, right?"

"Of course."

Juniper nodded, a soft smile playing on her lips. "He will be born safely, and you will be fine too."

Knowing the baby could stay, the couple let out a massive sigh of relief.

It was still early.

With Dana away visiting family, the house was empty, and Juniper didn't feel like facing an empty home.

On a whim, she steered her car toward the Schwartz Group headquarters.

After parking.

"Hi, I'm here for Shanley Schwartz."

"?"

Hearing the CEO's full name, the receptionist was so startled she looked up immediately.

Standing before her was a tall, elegant girl with a great aura.

Though her face was partially hidden under the cap, the visible contours hinted at a stunning beauty.

Looking for Mr. Schwartz?

Over the years, the line of women trying to meet Mr. Schwartz could stretch all the way to Paris.

And no one ever had the nerve to use his full name.

"Do you have an appointment?"

Assuming Juniper was just another gold-digger, the receptionist responded coldly.
