Chapter 106 Zombie Horde
Robin thought about that factory. She wondered if anyone was still there after they left.
She was actually hoping to see Oscar again.
After all, someone with a psychic ability like his was rare.
But right then, they heard a huge commotion outside.
“What’s going on?” Dane’s face turned serious.
Jerome’s body trembled slightly. “Robin, zombies…
“There are a lot of zombies outside! They’re coming from all directions!”

He had already awakened his ability, and his hearing was much sharper now. Even without going outside, he could hear the hoarse growls of zombies clearly.
Robin narrowed her eyes, but she didn’t panic.
It was getting dark.
This was exactly when zombies came out!
She’d seen this a million times in her past life. They were like ghosts–you never knew where they were hiding, but once they showed up, it felt like they were in every single corner of the world!
While they were talking, Martin and Drake came back with the people who had gone out to move supplies.
Everyone looked terrified. Some even looked completely hopeless, collapsing onto the ground and mumbling over and over, “It’s over. We’re done…”
“Martin, what’s happening outside?” Robin asked as she stepped forward.
Martin looked pale. “I don’t know what’s going on. A huge group of zombies showed up out of nowhere. At least a few hundred!”
A few hundred!
Robin’s heart sank. She knew this time, they were dealing with a small zombie horde.
“My supplies were just moved out!” Xane shouted, furious.
He grabbed Drake by the collar. “It’s all your fault! If you had moved faster, those zombies wouldn’t have caught up to us!”

Drake was already on edge. Since the apocalypse began, this was the first time they had faced this many zombies at once.
A few hundred…
Just hearing that number was enough to scare anyone. And they only had a little over 20 people!
They could hide here for a while, but not forever.
If they didn’t deal with the hundreds of zombies outside, they’d be trapped in this building until they died!
Jerome took a step back. “They’re coming…”
The sound of hundreds of messy footsteps and the chorus of raspy groans grew louder and louder in his ears.
The moment he finished speaking… Crash! The sound of glass shattering exploded.
Dozens of zombies slammed into the glass doors at once, finally breaking them apart. Sharp shards sliced through their gray, rotting skin, opening up nasty gashes.
Black blood and yellowish fluid leaked out, but they didn’t feel a thing. They just flailed their arms and rushed toward the group!
Xane’s eyes lit up with a cruel idea. “Where’s that guy with his sister? Hurry! Throw them out! He’s gonna die anyway. Let him buy us some time to escape!”
Hearing something that heartless, anger flashed in Klay’s eyes. But then he remembered what Robin had said before.
If you fight back, use your brain.
So he swallowed his anger and said nothing.
Looking at the massive wave of zombies, Robin made a quick decision. “Get to the second floor!”
This kind of large commercial building had a flaw.
The inside was designed like a hollow circle. No matter which floor you were on, you could see the entire first floor.
The view was great, but that also meant when the zombie horde hit, there was almost nowhere to hide.
