The guy’s face turned bright red after Tim called out exactly what everyone was thinking. He looked like he wanted to argue, but in the end, he just shut up awkwardly.

After Tim said all that, the people who were complaining went totally silent.

Martin looked at the silent crowd and spoke calmly, “When you joined my team, I told everyone that as long as you were with me, I’d do my best to protect you.

“We all had the same destination–Redwood Military Base. But obviously, things have changed. Xane is dead, which means Drake and I failed our mission.
