Chapter 180 Lightning Returns
Vivian was truly furious.
“They bullied me! Avenge me!”

As her voice fell, the insects let out a rustling chorus, as if responding to her command, sending chills down everyone’s spine.
“Pathetic.”
A fire ability user let out a disdainful laugh.
Boom!
A massive fireball erupted instantly, swallowing up half of the insect swarm.
Crackling sounds filled the air. Creatures like these feared fire the most, and soon the ground was covered in a layer of charred, blackened insect corpses.
A foul, indescribable stench spread through the air. Vivian hugged her cushion and took a step back, her eyes reddening instantly. “They’re all my friends…”
Hector glanced at the scene with disgust, his face full of mockery. “Friends? You really are insane, making friends with something this disgusting.”
“I think you’re the most disgusting thing in this world!”
Vivian’s chest heaved with anger. “How dare someone as shameless, gross, audacious, and completely lacking in decency as you talk bad about me?
“No wonder even a bird shat on your head! You are crap! Trash attracts trash!”
Hector had never been cursed out like this to his face before. His expression darkened like a storm cloud. “What a sharp–tongued little brat. Grab her! Now!
“I’d like to see if you can still talk like that once you’re back at the base with us!”
“I said, you’re disgusting!”
As Vivian shouted, she kept glancing around, quietly mapping out escape routes.

She had already sent word to Robin. All she needed to do now was stall. Her number one best friend in the world would be back soon.
Hector almost laughed from anger. “You’re really going to stay stubborn until the end, eh? What are you all standing around for? Move!”
Just as the group surged forward again, a cold female voice barked. “I’d like to see who dares!”
At the same time, a bolt of purple lightning crashed down, forming an impassable barrier between Vivian and the crowd!

Chapter 180–trghtning Returns
Finished
“My number one best friend in the world!”
Vivian turned in delight Wah, you’re finally back!
“They killed so many of my friends! You have to avenge them and me!”
Robin’s gaze swept coldly over the group, though her tone softened slightly. “Of course.”
“Who are you?”
Seeing the extraordinary power of that lightning, Hector’s eyes lit up instantly. She was a strong one.
And…
His gaze lingered on Robin with a certain intent, his breathing growing heavier.
It had been a long time since he had seen a woman this clean.
Not just physically clean, but also the vibe she gave off.
Since the apocalypse began, with resources scarce, even people who once lived refined lives had become disheveled.
Hair greasy and clumped together. Clothes unwashed for days, giving off unpleasant odors. Just looking at them was enough to make someone frown.
But the woman before him had her jet–black hair neatly tied back, making her look sharp and composed.
Her clothes were clean and tidy, her whole presence carrying an effortless, cool confidence. To Hector, she was like a fresh breeze cutting through stagnant, murky air–impossible to ignore.
With Robin back, Vivian immediately straightened up. “Disgusting creep! This is my number one best friend in the world!”
On the other side, Serena quickly added, “Commander Clark, she’s the leader of that group and the strongest one among them!”
So she’s their leader… Hector was slightly surprised.
Looking at that both unfamiliar yet oddly familiar face, Robin narrowed her eyes and let out a cold laugh. “Hector. Long time no see.”
Hector frowned. “You’ve seen me before?”
How could she not?
