That nasty instinct of a big cat made your teeth ache with anger, and there was nothing you could do about it.
Ella swallowed hard, her fists tightening.
Jessica hugged her daughter tightly, a bitter taste on her lips.
So it really was true.
There was no escaping
She lowered her head and gently kissed her daughter’s cheek.
Her daughter had inherited all the best features from her and her husband–small nose, big eyes. She’d grow up to be beautiful.
She was also well–behaved, not crying or fussing. It was because of this, and Jessica’s desperate begging, that Max finally agreed to let her daughter stay.
Otherwise, given that scumbag’s cruel nature, he’d surely have thrown this “burden” out to feed the zombies!
The baby wasn’t scared at all. As if sensing her mother’s feelings, she even opened her little mouth, showing her soft pink gums, and giggled.
Seeing her daughter’s cute little face, Jessica felt her tense nerves relax a little.
She thought to herself. Forget it.
If we’re going to die, then so be it.
Her jerk husband had gone to the grave long ago, living easily while leaving the two of them to suffer. Today, she’d go down and demand justice!
In the sunlight, the white tiger was stepping closer.
Its golden eyes seemed to glow, and its fur was smooth like silk. Every move it made was full of grace, like a king looking down at its prey.
As if it had finally lost patience for teasing, the white tiger pressed its paws to the ground and suddenly picked up speed!
Out of the corner of his eye, Max saw that huge white shadow charging toward them. A thrill flashed in his eyes. “No one gets away! Hahaha! None of you can escape!”
He wanted to see that bitch torn apart by the tiger with his own eyes.
As the white tiger drew closer, a smile of anticipation appeared on Max’s face.
But in the next second, his expression froze completely.

Chapter at Little Friend
Fuushed
The white tiger charged with fierce power, but in everyone’s shocked eyes, it suddenly stopped, then shoved its huge head right into Robin’s arms, rubbing against her like crazy. It even let out whimpering sounds, almost like a puppy.
Max was stunned.
Ella and the others‘ eyes went wide in shock,
Robin held its head, helplessly cooing, “Okay, okay, I missed you, too.
“I came to get you, didn’t I? No, no, how could I forget you?
“I know, I know, you’ve had a hard time, but you were really brave!
“No! I don’t have any other tigers outside! I only have you!”
The scene was so shocking that Max stared at the pair–human and tiger–completely dumbfounded, even forgetting the pain in his wrist for a moment, his face twitching hard.
“That’s right. He’s the super bad guy.” Robin pointed at Max seriously.
“Good thing you showed up just in time.”
They say that before people die, their whole life flashes before their eyes.
Max was already close to death, but his mind kept spinning with the same questions that wouldn’t leave his mind.
No one had expected that such a fierce white tiger could actually be Robin’s companion.
Jessica stared at her in shock. Could it be that that jerk, who tried to bribe his way out of responsibility, gave her a lucky chance to meet someone so incredible?
Ella and Dane knew that Robin kept some strange pets.
Like Ruby and Cotton.
But they never imagined that she even had a tiger!
A sudden thought flashed in Dane’s mind.
He asked hesitantly, “Robin, you said you were going to pick up your little friend… Don’t tell me you
meant…”
“Exactly.” Robin nodded.
“Let me introduce you–Snowy, three years old.”
It really was him!
Ella and Dane’s eyes nearly popped out.
