Chapter 227 What Did You Give Her?
Vivienne grabbed Arden by the chin with one hand, pinning her arm down with the other.
Dorian arrived just then.
Finished
The moment the door opened and he saw Arden being cornered at the cold sink by two women, a murderous glint lit up his eyes. He strode forward and yanked both Lacey and Vivienne away by the hair, flinging them with such force that their bodies slammed into the tiled wall with a sickening thud. Blood instantly ran down their foreheads where they hit.
Dorian wrapped Arden tightly in his arms, his voice low and lethal. “What the hell did you force her to take?”
Seeing him now–in all black, radiating fury like death itself–Lacey and Vivienne finally felt fear creep in.
Blood streaked down their faces, hair a tangled mess from the scuffle. They looked pathetic.
Lacey quickly tried to hide the bottle of liquid behind her back. “It’s… nothing…”
Dorian didn’t bother replying. He simply shot them a death glare and reached to snatch the bottle. Lacey tried to dodge, but Dorian slammed his foot down on her wrist with a brutal crunch.
Everyone heard the bone crack. Lacey went pale, moaning in pain.
Dorian called out, “Isla–come help me with Arden.”
Then he turned to Kade and Colton. Without needing further instruction, both men stepped in silently and pinned Lacey and Vivienne in place, forcing their jaws open.
Dorian, stone–faced, walked over and rammed the bottle into their mouths, dumping the liquid in. The women tried to resist, but he clamped their jaws so tightly they nearly fractured. “Swallow it.”
Kade and Colton tilted their heads back, closed their mouths, and grabbed rags from the sink to stuff into their mouths so they couldn’t spit anything out.
Arden trembled slightly. Her collar was tugged open, arms visibly red and scratched from being manhandled. She’d hit the corner of the sink, splitting the skin on her forearm.
Isla checked her over for injuries.
Once Dorian had force–fed the two women the liquid, he returned to Arden and took her into his arms. Seeing the storm of worry in his eyes, Isla stepped aside to let him take her.
Then she turned and slapped both Vivienne and Lacey across the face–hard. She didn’t stop there, landing a well–placed kick into Lacey’s side.
Alice stormed in and immediately followed up with two more slaps to Lacey’s already–swollen face. “You cause drama at the Vale family’s debutante banquet? You’ve got a damn death wish.”
Spoiled brats from scandalous bloodlines–what else are they supposed to be?

Lacey’s cheek was instantly puffed and bruised. Alice kept scolding her with no hint of restraint.
Dorian gently pressed Arden closer, smoothing her hair back, voice gentled. “It’s over.”
Finished
Her head ached from where her hair had been yanked, and her wrists throbbed. Her eyes watered, lashes heavy with unshed tears.
“Where else does it hurt?” he asked softly.
“Everywhere.”
Arden didn’t want to sound weak, but she had been genuinely hurt. Even though she’d pulled Vivienne’s hair out and kicked her back, right now her whole body just… hurt.
Dorian stared at her tear–brimmed lashes, then scooped her up. “Let’s get you cleaned up.”
He stood, holding her carefully, and told Kade, “Go downstairs and ask Celine for a blanket.”
To Colton, he added, “Give Lacey and Vivienne the kind of drug that’ll wipe tonight from their memory.”
He glanced at the two women like they were trash. “Then bag them and toss them somewhere far. Don’t ruin the debut.”
Kade and Colton nodded and got to work. Meanwhile, Ruby and Caleb had arrived outside the restroom.
Earlier, Kade had called in backup to guard the hallway and keep any guests from approaching the second floor. So far, no one else knew what had happened.
