Chapter 191 A Photograph
“I don’t.”
Riley let out a weary sigh.
If she knew who they were, she wouldn’t have spent all these years hiding from place to place.
Even now, she couldn’t understand who she had offended badly enough to be hunted down like this.
Iris wanted to ask more questions, but seeing Riley’s condition deteriorating, she decided not to press further.
“It’s alright. If you remember anything, contact me anytime.”
She stood and asked one final question.
“Do you plan on returning to Venus?”
“Probably not…”
At the mention of Venus, a spark briefly lit up Riley’s eyes.
Then it faded just as quickly.
“With a face like mine, I’d probably scare people away before I even finished discussing business.”
Over the years, she had continued following news from the cosmetics industry, but she had never found the courage to return to Venus.
After disappearing for so long, Yonki probably hated her by now.
“And the formula was never recovered.”
Her voice trembled.
“I’m sorry.”
“If the partnership had succeeded back then, you and Miss Summer would

probably have established yourselves in the cosmetics industry long ago.”

Iris shook her head. “The past isn’t what matters. What matters is the future.”
She handed Riley a slip of paper with a phone number and a photograph.
“This is Vice President Saunders’s number.”
“He’s been waiting for you all these years.”
“Protecting Venus for you.”
Yonki was exceptionally capable.
After Riley sold Venus to Noir Group and disappeared, countless companies had tried to recruit him. Everyone told him there was no point staying with Venus
anymore.
Yet he stayed.
Iris walked toward the door.
“It isn’t just Yonki. There are still many longtime employees at Venus waiting for you.”
“Even if you never return, you should at least give them a proper goodbye.”
As she spoke, she heard quiet sobbing behind her.
The photograph she had given Riley was one Yonki had entrusted to Iris during their very first meeting.
He had told her:
“If you ever find Chairman Carter, please give this to her.”
The photo had been taken shortly after Venus was founded.
Several of the original founders stood side by side.
Every single one of them was smiling.
Genuinely happy.

Zane Walker quietly closed the door behind them as they left.
Looking back at Riley’s current state, he couldn’t help feeling emotional.
“Boss, do you think she’ll go back?”
“She will.”

If the photograph had meant nothing to her, then she would have truly moved on.
What she needed now was simply time.
“But we still don’t have any leads on those people.” Zane sighed.
A mysterious group had appeared from nowhere, constantly working against them from the shadows.
It wasn’t just what had happened to Riley.
Even during Stellar Venture’s early days, someone had deliberately made things difficult for them.
Yet despite all their efforts, they couldn’t uncover the slightest trace of who was responsible.
“We’ll find them eventually.”
Iris was certain of it.
No one could remain flawless forever.
The moment they exposed even the smallest weakness, she would seize it and trace them back to the source.
But right now, there was something more important.
Sitting in the car, she dialed Vivian Hart’s number.
“Aunt Vivian, I’ll be heading back in a few days. I promised Noah I’d be there during his entrance exams.”
Voices could be heard in the background on Vivian’s end of the call.

Just as Iris tried to listen more carefully, Vivian suddenly covered the receiver.
A moment later, she spoke again.
“Ah… if you’re busy, you don’t have to come back. Noah only mentioned it casually.”
“What’s wrong?” Iris frowned. “Is the restaurant busy?”
She could hear people talking again in the background.
“Who’s there?”
“No one.” Vivian’s reply came too quickly. “You just finished your college entrance exams. Go enjoy yourself. Don’t worry about me or Noah. Hannah’s here too, and everything’s fine.”
Then she hurriedly added:
“I’ve got customers to take care of. I’ll call you later.”
