Vanessa had a wealthy friend who had given birth in Capital City. During her stay at the hospital, she had happened to see Noah accompanying Vivian on one of her rehabilitation walks.
“No wonder we couldn’t find them,” Vanessa said. “So they transferred to a hospital in Capital City.”
Samuel frowned. “But how could they afford a hospital that expensive? Didn’t your sister always refuse to touch her inheritance?”
“No matter how protective she is of it, she’d have to spend it when she’s practically dying!” Vanessa sounded completely convinced. “She must’ve used the inheritance money to transfer hospitals. After getting beaten up that badly, how else was she supposed to wake up?”
The more she thought about it, the more regretful she became.
When Vivian had been unconscious, Noah had probably been the one handling everything.
If only they had pressed him harder about where the money was.
“We’ll go visit Vivian tomorrow,” Vanessa declared. “We’ll bring some gifts and ask her to contribute money toward Olivia’s celebration banquet.”
After all, Olivia had achieved such excellent results.
As her aunt, Vivian should show some support.
Back in her room, Olivia excitedly sent a message to Ethan.
[Ethan! I think I’ll be able to go to Capital City and be with you!]
But no reply came.
Not because Ethan hadn’t seen the message.
At that very moment, he was being dragged into a lecture by Mayor Vaughn
“Now that the Sutton girl has finished her exams, it’s time to cut ties with her.”

Mayor Vaughn was furious. “At least I waited until after her exams so I wouldn’t affect her future. I’ve already been more than generous.”
Ethan tried to argue. “But… Olivia’s actually a really good person.”
“A good person?” Mayor Vaughn nearly laughed. “A good person freezes the membership card for Lee’s Kitchen?”
“Even if that was an accident, have you seen what her parents are like?”
“I will never approve of this relationship.”
He still hadn’t forgotten the humiliation Samuel and Vanessa had caused him at the Stellar Venture’s banquet.
“Listen carefully.”
“Delete her immediately.”
“And don’t reply to another one of her messages.”
Seeing that his father was genuinely angry, Ethan didn’t dare continue arguing.
He quietly returned to his room.
Meanwhile, at the hospital in Capital City, doctors had completed another round of examinations for Vivian.
Her recovery was progressing well.
Discharge was only a matter of time.
“Does that mean I’ll be able to attend Iris’s celebration banquet?” Vivian asked hopefully.
Noah pulled out a calendar and pointed to a date. “Doctor, what about around then?”
The doctor leaned in to look.
“That should be fine. Though to be safe, I’d recommend using a wheelchair.”
“Thank you, Doctor.”

“Aunt Vivian, the foods from the hospital cafeteria were surprisingly good today. I brought two portions.”
Then she remembered something.
“Oh, right. I ran into these two people downstairs. They said they’re your relatives and wanted to visit, so I brought them up.”
Relatives?
What relatives did the Hart family still have?
Vivian turned toward the doorway.
Standing there were Samuel and Vanessa, carrying several gift boxes.
“Vivian, we’re here to see you.”
Noah’s expression changed instantly. He immediately stood and positioned himself in front of Vivian’s hospital bed.
“What kind of look is that?” Samuel shot him an annoyed glance. “We came here out of kindness to visit your mother. Why are you acting like we’re here to hurt her?”
Hannah immediately sensed the tension and awkwardly froze in place.
“It’s alright, Hannah.” Vivian patted Noah’s hand. “You and Noah go do something else for a while. I’d like to speak with my sister and brother–in–law.”
Hannah tried pulling Noah away.
He wouldn’t budge.
Then inspiration struck.
She leaned close and whispered,
“Want to go find Iris?”
The effect was immediate.

Chapter 210 The Visit
:
The moment he heard Iris’s name, Noah finally moved.
Even then, he looked back anxiously before leaving.
“Aren’t those Aunt Vivian’s relatives?”
As soon as they stepped outside, Hannah couldn’t help asking.
“Why do you hate them so much?”
Before answering, Noah had already sent a message.
[Don’t worry. They won’t dare do anything inside the hospital. I’m on my way.]
