Iris stood and gave the nurse a slight nod.

The nurse immediately understood and stepped toward Samuel and Vanessa with a polite gesture toward the door.

Vanessa opened her mouth, ready to continue arguing.

Samuel quickly grabbed her arm and dragged her out before she could embarrass them further.

The moment they stepped into the hallway, Vanessa exploded.

“Why didn’t you let me keep talking? Vivian’s soft–hearted. Another few minutes and she might’ve agreed!”

Samuel rubbed his forehead. “You’ve spent too much time sitting at home. You can’t even read people’s expressions anymore.”

Iris nodded. “Yeah. My parents liked the venue. And just yesterday, Creek Hall actually approached us and recommended their facilities.”

After chatting briefly with Noah, she headed downstairs.

Zane drove her back toward Stellar Venture.

Since Zane had dealt with Creek Hall before, he couldn’t help laughing.

Iris looked out the window. “Samuel probably doesn’t know that. Leak the information to them.”

Samuel and Vanessa had already sent invitations everywhere in an attempt to pressure Vivian into paying.

Now that Vivian had refused, they had no way out.
