Chapter 294 Not Worth
Natalie’s POV:

While checking in, I heard someone call my name. The voice sounded familiar, so I looked up and saw Anna across the crowd. My assistant and bodyguards seemed surprised that someone had shouted my name so directly.
They quickly turned to me. “Ms. Scott, do you know her?”
A flicker of surprise crossed my eyes. I straightened up and met Anna’s gaze head-on.
James, Anna’s mate, was there, too. I had no intention of dealing with either of them and was about to leave when Anna started yelling insults.
I instructed my assistant to speak with the security team. I wanted them to know this was a private matter involving the Moon-Shadowed Pack heiress and to handle the cleanup.
The security team understood immediately. They began managing the crowd, dispersing onlookers. They even shut down this check-in station, moved it inside the venue, and opened a new entry point for other guests, sealing off this entrance.
Within minutes, the area around us had mostly cleared.
I stopped walking, turned, and walked gracefully in my heels toward them.
James’ POV:
“Natalie, don’t take it personally. Anna’s just emotional. We can actually talk.” I tried to smooth things over. After all, I wasn’t part of the Thorn Pack. If Natalie had the skills to take over the company and become CEO, that was her business.
I didn’t want to get tangled in their feud. I just wanted to play the nice guy and stay out of it.
But with one look from Natalie, someone grabbed my arms from behind and covered my mouth.
“Anna, did I hear you correctly? Were you insulting me?” Natalie stopped in front of Anna, a slight smile on her lips.
Anna was being held firmly by three bodyguards, her mouth also covered. But after Natalie spoke, she gave a slight nod, and the person silencing Anna let go.
“Of course I was!” Anna spat, every word dripping with hate. “I’m talking to you, you bitch!” She shouted the last two words.

Natalie seemed to have been waiting for her to finish. The moment the words were out, a sharp slap cracked through the air!
The blow was so hard it split Anna’s lip. The bodyguards held her arms tightly, giving her no chance to dodge. Natalie had put real force behind it.
Anna spat out a mouthful of blood. Seeing her own blood sent her into a rage. “Natalie, how dare you hit me?”
I couldn’t move either. I realized then that everyone else was gone. It was just Natalie’s people and us.
Where was the security team? Why weren’t they stepping in?
I stopped struggling completely and tried to catch Natalie’s eye, hoping to appeal to her. But Natalie didn’t even glance my way.
Natalie’s POV:
I had deliberately used the hand wearing two rings. The large diamonds were like blades. I’d shifted one ring slightly so a diamond dug into my finger.
“You dare to curse at me, and I dare to hit you. Anna, I warned you not to provoke me again. What? Now that the Richardson Group is bankrupt, you still have the nerve to act up in front of me?” My voice was cool, devoid of emotion.
“You bi…” Anna’s curse was cut off as someone covered her mouth again. She struggled even more wildly.
I walked behind Anna and plucked a business card from her open bag.
“So you’re here looking for investors. But does the Richardson family even belong at a summit like this?” I said.
Anna glared at me with red-rimmed eyes, unable to speak, only grunting furiously.
I smiled, “Still refusing to accept reality. I see.”
I dropped the card onto Anna’s chest. Then I turned slightly, deliberately asking my assistant, “If I put the word out that anyone who helps the Thorn Pack today is making an enemy of the Moon-Shadowed Pack, do you think anyone would still invest in their nearly bankrupt company?”
My assistant replied immediately, “Once you give the order, certainly not.
“After all, you are the sole heir of the Scott family, the only successor to the Moon-Shadowed Pack.”

My assistant understood perfectly and emphasized each word.
“Anna, now that you know who I am, you should understand how merciful I’ve been by merely letting the Richardson Group go bankrupt. Go back and tell your brother to have my things ready. I’ll send someone to collect them later.” With that, I turned and walked away.
Back when my hatred for Landon was at its peak, a single act of revenge wasn’t enough. I wanted him to suffer.
I wanted him to watch his career, reputation, relationships, and family fall apart.
Now, the Richardson Group was a hollow shell, the pack was on the verge of collapse, and Landon and Aaliyah were like stray dogs in Maritime City. My revenge was complete.
But I didn’t feel any satisfaction anymore-only tiredness.
Thorn Pack, Landon-they weren’t even worth it, not worth another second of my time.
From now on, whether they lived or died, thrived or failed, it had nothing to do with me.
I gave my assistant a few final instructions, then entered the main venue.
