Manley stepped up to Estelle, looking her dead in the eye, “What’s this marriage agreement he was talking about?”

Estelle let out a long sigh, turned around and plopped down on the couch, I was married to Jonathan

Manley’s eyes bugged out, “Since when?”

Estelle explained the whole Macclain and Lamont family saga to Manley.

Manley knew that she was the long-lost daughter of the Macclain family, but had no idea about her connection with Jonathan Laughing coldly, he said, “What’s Jonathan playing at? He’s all cozy with Gwen but expect you to stay single?”

Estelle grabbed a pillow and hugged it to her chest, feeling irritable, “Two years ago, I gave him the marriage agreement to tell him I wanted a divorce. I thought he would’ve taken care of it by now

She turned to Manley, “So, stay out of this. Things between us are already messy enough.”

“That is more fun!” Manley said coldly, “I’m going to stick around and drive that bastard Jonathan crazy!”

Estelle played with the USB in her hand, ignoring him.

Manley cursed and stormed off. He took a few steps, then suddenly tumed back to Estelle, “You’re not stopping me?”

Estelle lay sprawled on the couch, looking at Manley sideways without a smile, “Manley, don’t fall for me. Let’s be best friends. If you’re in trouble, I have your back”
