On Monday, Estelle got back to work on the set.

The following week went smoothly, with work going on like clockwork and life repeating itself day after day.

Except for the day when they both lost control on their way to the Lamont family, Jonathan never looked for her again.

Every time she saw Gwen, she would involuntarily think of Jonathan, wondering if he said those outrageous words because he had some sort of possessive desire for her.

Gwen and Clarice were still getting along well. Clarice would always mention Jonathan in front of Estelle, and Gwen looked happy, like a woman immersed in love.

Life went on as usual. The only surprise for Estelle was that Mr. Kress suddenly changed his attitude towards her for the better.

After Estelle refused his help in becoming an actress, Mr. Kress intentionally made things difficult for her. But starting this week, Mr. Kress's attitude changed dramatically, and he became as attentive as before, gifting her lipstick and flowers, and even having someone buy her afternoon tea. Even when Estelle rejected him, he persisted.

Eventually, the whole crew knew that Mr. Kress was pursuing designer Estelle.

One day, Mr. Kress' assistant once again delivered a bouquet of roses to her. Estelle tossed them aside and coldly said, "Tell him, if he sends flowers again, I'll call the police and accuse him of harassment!"

The assistant quickly took the flowers and left.

Within half an hour, Mr. Kress personally came over with flowers, a big smile on his face, "Estelle, if you don't like roses, I'll switch to lilies tomorrow!"

Estelle looked at him coldly, "What are you trying to do, spit it out!"

Mr. Kress immediately said, "I like you, I want to pursue you, can't you see that? Estelle, I was wrong before and used the wrong way to express my feelings for you, I apologize. But my feelings for you are real, I've liked you since the first time you joined the crew."

"I accept your apology, but nothing more. I don't like you, please don't send flowers again!" Estelle said indifferently.

Two days later, the crew held a dinner party.

The director chose a high-end restaurant with good privacy. The leading actors Gwen and Steven were present.

As usual, they were divided into three tables. But this time, Gwen sat at the director's table, surrounded by friends like Clarice and Steven.

Craig and Estelle sat together. He poured Estelle a glass of wine and said with a smile, "Even after seeing through human nature, it still feels ironic."

Estelle clinked glasses with him and said with a faint smile, "Chill out, youngster."

Craig knocked back a large mouthful of wine and said, "At least we're still together."

After drinking some wine, Estelle went to the restroom.
