“Bounce? The fun’s just getting started, don’t you wanna stick around and see?” Gwen sat quietly on the couch, a grin playing on her lips.

“Hell yeah, I wanna see!” Clarice replied excitedly, pouring Gwen a drink, “We should’ve installed a camera in the room, so we could watch the live show whenever we wanted.”

Gwen chuckled, “It’s all the same if you listen in!”

Just as her words fell, the door was kicked open. A tall man stormed in, followed by Millard Brooks and his crew.

Gwen’s smile froze, she stood up in surprise, “Mr. Lamont!”

Jonathan’s eyes scanned the room, he asked coldly, “Where’s Estelle?”

Gwen played dumb, “Estelle? She ain’t here.”

Jonathan headed towards the door to the back room.

Gwen tried to stop him, but Millard blocked her way.

“Stay put, Gwen,” Millard said coldly.

Jonathan forced the door open. And the sight inside turned his face stone cold.

In the dimly lit room, Craig’lay bleeding from a blow to the head, thrown to the side. Mr. Kress was dragging Estelle toward the bed by her shirt, her top ripped open revealing her bare shoulder and bra strap.

She held a small gun, préssed against Mr. Kress’s chest.

Estelle curled up in his arms, her fingers tightly gripping Jonathan’s arm, her voice hoarse, “Take me away!”

“Alright, we’re leaving now!”

Jonathan hugged her tighter and turned to leave. Estelle grabbed his arm hand harder, “Craig!”

Jonathan’s face sank. “You was almost dragged down by that fool. You still think about him!“.

Estelle frowned and looked at him in a trance.

Jonathan bowed his head and kissed her wrinkled eyebrows, softly, “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to him!“. Estelle was at ease in his arms.

As they passed Gwen, he gave her a stern look and said to Millard and Brooks, “You guys know what to do next.” Millard immediately responded.
