Simone snorted coldly. “She’s not good in nature, what will she look like when she grows up?”

Bennett cleared his throat, ‘Don’t forget, she’s our kid.”

‘She may be our kid, but we didn’t raise her! Simone mocked, “Even a good seed won’t grow right in crappy soil. If she doesn’t love herself, why should we let her drag us down with her?”

Bennett wanted to say something, but suddenly saw Carmella coming down the stairs, so he stopped talking. Carmella, in her cute pajamas and cuddling her stuffed kitten, looked extremely cheerful, “Hey mom and dad, what are you guys talking about?”

Not wanting to mention Estelle, Simone didn’t say much and, holding Carmella’s hand, asked with a smile, “How’s the studio going?”

‘That’s exactly what I wanted to talk to you guys about!” Carmella sald, gripping Simone’s hand, “My team and I want to participate in this really famous overseas fashion show. But the admission requirements for this exhibition are very high, so some money needs to be invested.”

Simone was taken aback, ‘Do you need funds again?”

“Mom, if our designs make it to the show, we’ll definitely get a lot of attention. All the money we put in will come back, Carmella said excitedly.
