Estelle wasn't sure if there was really someone outside the car, giving a vague reply.

"Good girl!" the man chuckled happily, leaning in for another kiss.

Estelle looked up and said, "Let's bring Henson to the horse ranch tomorrow afternoon."

Jonathan hesitated, seeming reluctant. "Why do we need to bring him to our date?"

"I promised him I'd teach him how to shoot if he improved his studies!"

Jonathan murmured, "You remember the promises you made to others, but why can't you remember the ones you made to me?"

"What did I promise you?"

"You promised me you'd always be by my side."

"You said it yourself; you were tired of it!"

Jonathan was taken aback; why did he say such a thing?

Suddenly, Estelle's phone rang in her pocket. She quickly sat back in her chair and answered it.

It was Emily calling, asking why she hadn't come back yet; dinner was almost ready.

Estelle cleared her throat. "I'm downstairs; I'll be up in a minute."

After hanging up, she said goodbye to Jonathan. She turned around to see him still looking at her, words caught in her throat.

Jonathan gently patted her head, smiling softly, saying, "Go up, enjoy your meal."

"Yeah, drive safe."

Estelle nodded slightly and got out of the car.

She knew he was watching, so she didn't look back. She walked steadily straight into the building.

However, she held her phone in her hand and resisted. She went back to playing with Kya, ignoring the thought.

When Emily finished the last soup, Estelle took Kya to wash her hands. She deliberately walked past the balcony again to look down.

Thankfully, the car was gone, and she breathed a sigh of relief.

Filming set

In the afternoon, Estelle didn't show up for shooting. The assistant director couldn't find Blythe for a moment, so he asked Carmella to check the extras' costume list.

Carmella nodded, and after the assistant director left, she said to Yulia, "Can Estelle take weekends off?"

"It seems like it." Yulia was playing games on her phone during the break.

Carmella laughed lightly: "Yulia, you're a big star and you have to follow the schedule to shoot, but as a designer, Estelle can actually take weekends off! How interesting!"

Yulia suddenly looked up and said, "Indeed, why can't I have weekends off? Why can a regular designer have weekends off?"
