Chapter 1247 

“Nope, we’re going to stick to our own rooms. I think it works just fine!” Estelle asserted. 

Jonathan frowned. “Arent we supposed to be sharing a bed? Why are you always pacing around?” 

“Who said sharing a bed?” Estelle stood up. I’m planning to head back to my own room to sleep. It’s getting late, I’ll be off now. Night 

Jonathan leaned back on the couch, his eyes boring into hers. “I dare you to take another step!” 

Estelle turned around, her eyes sparkling with mischief “Oh, watch me?” 

And with that, she dashed towards the door. 

But before she could open it more than a crack, Jonathan shut it abruptly, pinning Estelle against the door. His hands gripped her shoulders and in the heat of a kiss, her world seemed to drown 

Her defiance had its repercussions Estelle’s mind became foggy. She suddenly thought he must have planned this, as revenge for her not explaining her actions lately 

The next day, as she was stepping out, a thought struck Estelle. She turned back to ask, “Do we still have the medicine from yesterday?” 

Jonathan lifted his gaze, his eyes unreadable. “No need, twice a month in enough” 

Estelle nodded and headed out 

They both arrived at the Lamont family mansion and split up on the second floor Jonathan gave a knowing smirk. Tl be waiting for your apology upstairs!” 

Estelle shot him a challenging look. “Keep dreaming!” 

Jonathan grabbed her hand, his voice low, “Then I’ll apologize, because I know you’ll come.” 

Estelle, fearing that someone might see, quickly tried to pull away. 

“Will you come?” Jonathan held her hand tightly, unwilling to let go. 

Out of options, Estelle conceded. “Alright, I’ll come.” 

“Good girl!” With that, Jonathan released her hand and headed upstairs. 

Estelle breathed a sigh of relief. She took a quick look around before calmly walking towards Henson’s room. 

Henson was on the phone with Jonathan “Jonathan, you’re back? Estelle’s coming!” 

Jonathan replied nonchalantly as he walked up the stairs. “I’m home.” 

Henson’s face lit up. I’ll send Estelle up in a bit. Be nice to her!” 

Jonathan agreed easily. “Sure thing!” 

Henson glanced at the open door and whispered. “Estelle’s here, I have got to go!” 

“Alright, study hard.” 

Henson hung up and turned to Estelle. “Remember what you promised me yesterday? Jonathan’s home today” 

Estelle kept a straight face. Lesson first, we’ll talk afterwards.” 

“You better not back out!” Henson reminded her nervously, then opened his backpack. 

Estelle suddenly felt somewhat guilty for teaming up with Jonathan to deceive Henson. 

Suppressing a laugh, she said lightly, “Get yesterday’s homework out first.” 

As they started the lesson, Henson found a chance to text Jonathan. “Hold your horses, Estelle will be up after this lesson.” 

Jonathan’s reply was short and sweet. “Okay” 

Henson sighed with relief and focused on the lesson. 

Today’s lesson felt longer than usual. Henson kept glancing at the clock, worried that Jonathan would get impatient and leave. 

Luckily, the lesson finally ended. 

Henson immediately handed the test papers from yesterday to Estelle. ‘Go on, Jonathan’s waiting. Be sincere in your apology”
