Chapter 1312
Her phone buzzed on the table; it was Harriet. Estelle picked it up and chirped, "Harriet!"
Harriet chuckled. “Are you still on the film set?"
"Yeah.
Harriet laughed: "You, a world-renowned designer, stuck on a film set all day—isn't that a waste of your talent? I've got to ask Jason what he's thinking!"
Estelle responded, "Once I finish this gig, I'll get back to my studio.
Besides, I've kept up with all your design sketches, regardless of where I am."
Harriet chuckled. "So you knew why I was calling?"
"Don't sweat it. I've got the autumn designs ready. I'll send them to your email.” Estelle replied.
"Perfect!" Harriet laughed. "Oh, by the way, is Sophia coming back?"
"Yeah, but she won't be returning to the studio just yet. She's taken on as the art director for a variety show, so she'll be busy for a bit."
“Alright, when Sophia's back, I'll take her out for a meal, and we can catch up"
"Sounds good."
After a bit of chit-chat, Estelle hung up and sent her autumn fashion designs for GK Jewelry Studio to Harriet's email.
In the afternoon, when Jonathan picked her up, he didn't head towards her home. Estelle couldn't resist asking, "Where are we going?"
“I'm taking you to eat something you like!" The sunset bathed the car, his handsome face still glowing with a gentle light.
Looking at the increasingly familiar streets, Estelle had a hunch and couldn't help but smile.
Sure enough, they parked on the side of Food Street and Jonathan led her into a shop.
By the time they arrived at the noodle shop, it was already dark, and the place was packed, mostly with students from the University of J City.
They found an empty spot, and as soon as the owner saw Jonathan, she happily approached, saying; You're back!"
Estelle quickly shook her head and said, "No need, thank you!"
The owner laughed, saying, "You may not know, but I've been running this shop for many years. I've seen many young couples split up after graduation. It's really nice to see you two still together after all these years."
Estelle couldn't help but laugh. "We weren't classmates!"
"I know, your boyfriend doesn't look or act like a student.’ The owner laughed and waved, saying,'Whether you're classmates or not, it's obvious that your feelings for each other are genuine. It's not easy to stay together for so many years; you must cherish it!"
Estelle nodded slowly. "We will"
"Go on, your noodles will be ready soon"
Estelle smiled, holding the chili jar, and went back to Jonathan.
Jonathan asked with a smile, "What did she say to you?"
Estelle looked up and said, "She said you don't look like a student."
