Pulling Estelle into his arms, Jonathan looked out into the night, his voice low. “The day you came back, it was raining”
Estelle looked up at him in surprise, his handsome profile hidden in the darkness.
“You caught the flight at 5:10 in the morning from Oakdale City and landed in J City at 6:25,” he continued.
Her heart pounding, Estelle asked, “How did you know?”
Turning to look at her, Jonathan’s gaze was deep and tender. “I didn’t sleep that night.”
It was a night just like this, with him sitting on the balcony waiting for her, wondering where she was with every passing hour The one he loved was on her way to him, braving the storm, sailing against the wind, and coming to him through rain and shine.
Jonathan knew Estelle was finally home.
But what he didn’t tell Estelle was that at dawn, he drove to the airport.
He watched her disembark and watched her and Manley drive away in the morning rain.
Despite the sour feeling in his heart, knowing she was within his reach made Jonathan feel incredibly lucky.
Estelle gripped Jonathan’s sleeve, leaning into his chest and feeling his strong and steady heartbeat.
Jonathan held her close, whispering into her ear, “Ella.”
“Realistic?” Charlie looked at her and said, “You think fate has deprived you of seeking love?”
Emily shook her head. “I never thought that.”

“But you do!” Charlie said sternly. “You’re afraid to try love, blaming it all on your background, on your father Shawn, on Kya, telling yourself that it’s all fate’s doing and that you have no other choice but to accept.”
Emily was stunned.
Looking at her, Charlie said, “The pain inflicted by others is a challenge to you. If you give in, then you’ve truly lost.”

Someone needs to send a new picture of Trevor to Oliver and Luke so that they will get their requested reports to Gonzalez asap. If they didn't know, now they know what awaits them if they continue to disrespect and NOT follow orders....
Well, well, well. I love how Gonzalez sent out the warning that he's the CEO and either they will acknowledge him as such or get their due diligence.
