“I’ve arranged to meet with Mrs. Lee today at Savor Symphony.” Simone said, a faint smile finally gracing her face. “Well, we better dress Carmella to the nines then!” 

“Don’t worry, we’ve got it!” 

Meanwhile, Carmella was in her room, staring blankly at the dress Simone had picked out for her on the sofa. 

Simone had told her that Elvin Frost, from the Frost family, had just returned from studying abroad. He was brilliant, albeit a bit on the short side. 

Carmella couldn’t help but scoff. A bit short? Elvin was even shorter than her! 

A chill ran through her heart. She immediately grabbed her phone and dialed Finley Gould. 

When he picked up, Carmella immediately said, with a tone of grievance, “Finley!” 

Finley was taken aback, asking in surprise, “Carmella, what’s wrong?” 

Trying to hold back tears, Carmella said, “My parents want me to shut down my studio and get married ASAP!” 

Finley’s tone turned cold: “Damn, that’s rough.” 

“I don’t want to get married, Finley, can you help me?” Carmella couldn’t hold back her tears anymore. 

“Sweetheart, don’t cry!” Finley’s voice was full of concern: “You’re breaking my heart here.” 

Still sobbing, Carmella said, “I really don’t know what to do!” 

“Let’s meet and talk about this; don’t worry, I’ll help you sort this out.” Finley’s voice was full of care and protection. 

Carmella nodded. Tll wait for you at the restaurant where we met last time.” 

“Okay, I’ll be right there!” 

After hanging up, Carmella quickly washed her face, put on makeup, and slipped into the dress Simone had bought for her. Noticing that Simone was not in the living room, she quickly sneaked out of the house. 

Carmella drove to meet Finley without saying goodbye to Simone. 

When Carmella arrived at the same restaurant, she called Finley, who had already reserved a table and was waiting for her. 

Seeing Carmella, Finley immediately stood up to greet her, pulling her by the wrist to sit down. His face was full of worry. “Carmella, what happened?” Tears welled up in Carmella’s eyes again. “I don’t want to shut down my studio, but my parents are cutting me off and they want me to get married.” Finley said coldly, “Who are they to force you?” 

Carmella wiped her tears with a tissue. “They want me to get married to help the family business.” 

Finley sneered, “So they think they can just sell you off like that?” 

Carmella said, “That’s why I can’t let the studio close; I have to make it work? 

Finley looked deep in thought and asked, “Are you sure your studio can make money?” 

Carmella nodded without hesitation. “Of course, my studio will definitely be a success!” 

Finley calculated, “How much money do you need?” 

Carmella frowned. “Do you think I came here to borrow money from you?” 

She seemed a bit angry, picked up her bag, and prepared to leave. 

Finley immediately blocked her, saying. “Carmella, don’t get upset, that’s not what I meant. I just can’t stand to see you cry, and I want to help.” 

Carmella hesitated but eventually sat back down. “I know you’re not the reckless type, otherwise, I wouldn’t have come to you for help” 

“What do you need me to do?” Finley asked. 

Carmella thought for a moment, then said, “There’s a reality show about celebrity wardrobes looking for designers. But to get in, I need connections Can you help?” 

Finley stroked his chin, thinking. Then he laughed. Funny you mention that. I do know about this show. They’re looking for brand sponsors. Someone from their team reached out to our marketing department” 

“For real?” Carmella exclaimed in surprise and delight.
