With a courteous “No need, I’m doing great at work,” Emily gently rejected
“If you’re considering a job switch, you have got to hit up Kenny. She knows tons of people in the sales industry, mostly loaded bosses” “Alright!”
Gina hastily said, “Please, take a seat and chat. Don’t just stand around”
“By the way, Emily, do you have a boyfriend now?” Linda asked again
Just as Gina was about to speak, Emily rushed ahead of her, “Nope, just started working, not planning on getting a boyfriend yet.”
Gina hoped to alter the subject by bringing up Martin, so Emily would not be constantly compared to Kenny. But Emily beat her to it. Gina felt a little self-conscious and turned around to pour some coffee for Linda.
“Working and dating are not mutually exclusive. Let me tell you, these are your golden years. Once you pass this phase, you won’t be as popular when you’re older. Don’t rely on yourself for everything. Waiting until your thirties to consider marriage would be too late. Men like younger women, no matter how successful you are, it won’t beat a young face.” Linda said with a concerned tone, “Look at my Kenny, successful in her career and has a pretty decent boyfriend. Isn’t that great?”
Relatives around joined in to agree with Linda while singing Kenny’s praises.
Kenny was smiling, and when she caught a glimpse of Emily, her smile grew even wider
Gina, holding the coffee, sensed something was wrong.
Emily was a graduate from a prestigious university, but her work performance was not as good as Kenny’s, and she didn not have a boyfriend, seemingly falling short in all aspects.
“Everyone, have some coffee and sweets!” Gina tried to change the topic, not wanting Linda to keep comparing Ernily and Kenny
Emily replied, “Yes.” She then said to Kya, “This is your Grandma Linda, and Aunt Kenny”
Kya politely greeted, “Hello.”
Still surprised, Linda asked, “Emily, you never mentioned you were married.”
Emily nodded and said, “That’s right, I’m not married.”

Someone needs to send a new picture of Trevor to Oliver and Luke so that they will get their requested reports to Gonzalez asap. If they didn't know, now they know what awaits them if they continue to disrespect and NOT follow orders....
Well, well, well. I love how Gonzalez sent out the warning that he's the CEO and either they will acknowledge him as such or get their due diligence. I'm waiting to see how the Franco family will be walking on eggs and come into a new understanding of Gonzalez taking charge. Thank you so much for the five updates....
