Chapter 1365
The delivery guys were really polite, “Sorry we didn’t give you a heads up. Can we come in?”
“Sure thing!” Emily replied cheerily, opening the door wider
The two delivery men began unloading dish after dish from their insulated box onto the table, and then bowed politely. “Enjoy your meal!* “Thanks!” Emily responded.
Charlie had ordered six dishes and a bowl of soup – a rich morel mushroom soup which was Kya’s favorite. The savory aroma filled the air.
Emily tidied up a bit, noticing Charlie wasn’t out yet, she furrowed her brow
Setting Kya in a chair, Emily headed towards the master bedroom to find him.
Charlie was standing with his back to her on the balcony. Under the dusk light, his tall figure seemed a bit lonely.
“What’s up?” Emily asked softly.
She didn’t resist his kiss just now, and he was still upset!
Turning to face her, Charlie gave a little smile, “You just kissed and ran. I needed a moment to recover, or else people may figure out what we’ve just been up to.”
Emily blushed a deep red, feeling both embarrassed and a little annoyed.
Loneliness and Charlie? No way!
“I didn’t kiss you!” Emily glared at him, quickly turning to leave.
Charlie took a deep breath, laughing helplessly.
Emily waited a while before Charlie emerged, she didn’t dare look at him and turned to the kitchen to get some utensils.
All three of them sat down and began to eat.
Changing the topic, Kya asked Charlie, “Uncle Charlie, can I be your flower girl when you get married?”
Emily’s grip tightened around her spoon.
Charlie replied with a smile, “Of course!”
“That’s great! Uncle Elliott didn’t let me be the flower girl at his wedding. I want to sprinkle flower petals for your bride too, Kya grinned, revealing a few white teeth.
Charlie glanced at Emily, his eyes slightly cold, but he smiled at Kya, “Sure, once I find my bride, you can be the flower girl,”
“But where is your bride?” Kya asked curiously with wide eyes.
“Emily knows, you can ask her!” Charlie responded.

Someone needs to send a new picture of Trevor to Oliver and Luke so that they will get their requested reports to Gonzalez asap. If they didn't know, now they know what awaits them if they continue to disrespect and NOT follow orders....
Well, well, well. I love how Gonzalez sent out the warning that he's the CEO and either they will acknowledge him as such or get their due diligence. I'm waiting to see how the Franco family will be walking on eggs and come into a new understanding of Gonzalez taking charge. Thank you so much for the five updates....
