Emily suddenly remembered that this was the toy Magdalen Sampson had bought for Kya the last time.

"There's really a ring, that's so freaking cool!" Charlie exclaimed. He picked up the two rings and laughed, "Just that the rings are kind of small. Let me adjust the size."

The silver ring was adjustable. Charlie took a glance at Emily's finger and adjusted the ring to the right size.

He removed the rose pattern from his ring, turning it into a plain band, and adjusted it to fit his own finger.

"Perfect now!"

"Uncle Charlie, you're so awesome!" Kya beamed.

"Give me your hand!" Charlie turned to Emily.

Emily instinctively hid her hand behind her back and said, "Just put it on the princess in the castle!"

"You are my princess!" Charlie looked at Emily and said softly. Then he reached out, pulled her hand out, and put the ring on her ring finger.

"Looks gorgeous!" Charlie held Emily's hand, his eyes deep.
