From the beginning until now, Carmella seemed to be breezing through everything. During their time on the show, she’d often see Carmella and Heather chilling together, sipping on afternoon tea. And according to Simone, Carmella’s home life was equally laid-back, with her even spending her nights watching TV dramas. 

When did Carmella’s amazing design drafts finished? She herself was constantly mulling over her drafts, day and night, thinking until her head’s about to hurt! Even when her communication with Amber wasn’t going well during the day, she’s still preoccupied with her drafts.

Jonathan knew that Estelle was attending the Macclain family’s celebration dinner that night, so he took her to the hotel. 

At the hotel entrance, Estelle turned back and said, “I’ll go up by myself. I’ll say hi to Sallie and then take off.” 

Jonathan, however, unbuckled his seatbelt to get out of the car, “My family knows about us, so what’s the big deal if the Macclain family knows?” 

Estelle frowned. She already had a headache when the Lamont family found out, so she didn’t want the Macclain family to know too. Otherwise, she might have to deal with more than Just Bennett latching onto her like a locust! 

Seeing her frown, Jonathan quickly said, “I won’t show up as your husband, but as an invited guest. That’s okay, right?” As he said this, he pulled out an invitation from the car. 

Estelle was surprised, “The Macclain family sent you an invitation too?” 

“Yep, it’s from your cousin, Sabina.” He held her hand, “So I can go now, right?” 

Estelle got his drift and laughed, “Wait for me to go in first. Then you wait until I get in there, and you don’t expose our relationship in front of the Macclain family, or you know what will happen if you do.” 

Jonathan laughed, “Listening to my wife is my life’s motto.” 

Estelle said with a smile, “I’m going up now.” 

Jonathan held her hand, gave her a peck on the cheek, and said, “Go on, see you in a bit.”. 

Estelle gave him a look and then got out of the car. 

Jonathan watched her walk away, his eyes filled with tenderness. Suddenly, the girl walking ahead turned around, gave him a smile, then quickly turned away and walked off. The corners of Jonathan’s mouth lifted into a smile as he watched her, his heart was full of warmth. 

Just as Estelle walked into the hotel lobby, she received a message from Sallie, “Estelle, are you here yet?” 

Following the text was an emoji of a chubby-cheeked doll sitting on the ground, propping up its chin. 

Estelle replied, “At the hotel now, coming up soon.” 

“Great, I’ll meet you at the entrance.” 

Estelle went up to the 26th floor, where Sallie and Hans were both waiting at the entrance of the banquet hall. As soon as they spotted Estelle, they ran over to her, calling out, “Estelle!”
