Amiee flashed a light smile, "I'm all ears!"

The bustling crowd around them gradually fell silent.

Josiah looked up at his girl, the one who had donned a wedding dress for him, his gaze growing clearer and brighter by the moment. "I used to really look up to Jonah, following in his footsteps, doing everything he did. I thought that was what freedom looked like!"

Carson chimed in, "We asked you to confess to Amiee, not Jonah!"

Laughter erupted from the group.

Josiah couldn't help but blush.

Magdalen laughed so hard she had to share the video with Estelle, "You have to send this to Jonathan!"

Estelle, chuckling, sent the video off.

Jonathan replied to her message pretty quickly, "I wonder, at our wedding, how will you confess to me?"

Estelle, trying to suppress her laughter, replied, "Aren't you supposed to be the one confessing to me?"

Jonathan responded, "Everyone knows my confession, I want to hear yours."

Estelle smiled softly, not replying anymore, and continued to listen to Josiah's confession to Amiee.

After a bit of commotion, silence fell again as everyone listened to Josiah speak.

Josiah looked at Amiee, probably trying to muster his emotions and find the feeling he had before, but ended up failing and burst into laughter instead!

He laughed, Amiee laughed, and everyone around them joined in, not really sure what they were laughing about but finding it contagious all the same.

Suddenly, Josiah stood up, cradling Amiee's face and planted a kiss on her lips.

Of course, he would never know that.

She looked at her big boy, extending her arms for a gentle hug, "Thank you, I understand everything you've said, and I will always love you too!"

The room erupted into warm applause.

Estelle sent the video to Jonathan again, "Feeling accomplished and moved."

Jonathan replied, "Didn't expect Josiah to say something so nice, feeling the pressure now!"

Estelle sent back an encouraging emoji.

Amiee, always reserved, had never heard Josiah say "I love you" before. Hearing her declaration now, his eyes welled up with tears. He turned and kissed her deeply, then effortlessly lifted her in his arms and headed outside.

The crowd followed, laughing and cheering them on.
