Charlie chuckled softly, “Not expensive, just ordinary champagne, take it!”

Estelle looked at the bottle, Clairette de Die.

Emily only took it when she heard it was ordinary wine, saying, “Thank you!

“No need to thank me, just take it as a payment for your soup!” Charlie laughed, nodded at Estelle, and turned to the study.

Emily opened the bottle, got two glasses, and said, “Let’s go to the balcony to chill!”

“Alright!” 

There was a carpet on the balcony, Emily filled the Champagne into the glass, handed it to Estelle, “I’ve only tried this kind of Champagne at school parties, but it didn’t taste very good.”

After saying that, she took a sip of the drink in her glass, her eyes suddenly lit up, and said, “This one is quite good, better than what I’ve had.”

Estelle just smiled and said nothing, taking a sip of the drink.

“Wait for me!” Emily got up to the kitchen, grabbed some desserts she made and two boxes of ice cream, “The cake is freshly made, the ice cream was bought earlier from the supermarket, all your favorite flavors.”

Estelle glanced at the ice cream box, her favorite brand, but quite expensive, Emily could barely buy two boxes of ice cream with her income at Sweet Desserts.

She opened the ice cream, saying, “Don’t buy me ice cream anymore.”

“What’s wrong?” Emily asked.

Estelle looked up and chuckled, “I have severe dysmenorrhea, and I plan to quit ice cream.”

“Oh!” Emily frowned, “Why didn’t you mention it earlier? Then don’t eat this anymore!”

Estelle quickly dodged with the ice cream in hand, “I’ll quit after finishing this one, or it’ll be a waste!”

Emily laughed, her smile beautiful, “I knew you couldn’t resist it!”

The guest had already gotten into the car, Geoffrey and Alcott Lamont turned back to the house.

Jonathan looked up and said, “I’m gonna take off now, something came up and I have to go.”

Hearing it, they looked at him at the same time, Alcott said, “Why are you going out so late? You haven’t been home for a few days!”

“Yes, it’s the company.” Jonathan replied indifferently, “Charlie has something for me.”

“Are you driving yourself?” Geoffrey asked.

“I’ll be fine, I didn’t drink.” Jonathan said.

“Be careful on the road then!” Alcott advised with concern.

Jonathan nodded, then turned and walked towards the villa parking lot.

He took the car and left the villa, quickly getting on the main road and heading towards the city center.
