He poured a glass of wine for Estelle, “I’ll have one glass, you should have some too!”

The wine was opened by Estelle herself, so she wasn’t worried about him drugging her. As for the price of the wine, she had already told Mamie to put it on her tab and couldn’t be bothered to talk more with Manley.

Manley actually drank a glass of wine and said with a smile, “Think about what I just said. Jonathan actually let you work in a place like this. Why are you still with him?”

Estelle frowned, “My job here has nothing to do with him!”

Manley snickered, “Are you kidding? Everyone knows you’re Jonathan’s girl. How could your job here have nothing to do with him?”

Estelle suddenly furrowed her brow.

Manley tilted his head to look at her, “What’s that look for?”

Estelle sounded worried, “How many people know about my relationship with him? Will my job here make him a laughingstock?” 

Manley, “…”

He was defeated by her!

“Do you like him that much?” Manley asked.

Estelle nodded, “Yes, very, very much. I’ll like him for the rest of my life.”

Manley felt a little suffocated in his chest, but still kept the wicked smile on his face, “You’re not saying that just for me, are you?”

Estelle said, “No, you don’t even like me!”

Manley laughed, “Who said I don’t like you? Can’t you see how much I like you? I’m wish I could dig out my heart to show you!”

Manley was amused once again, “What are you trying to say, that she and I are the same kind of person, or that we both have ulterior motives? Although Lucille is stupid and jealousy, and she has done many stupid things since you and Jonathan got together, she is right about one thing Jonathan indeed won’t marry you. He hates Lucille, but he’ll still have to marry a woman with a Lucille–like family background”

Manley was about to say yes without thinking, but when he saw Estelle’s clear eyes, the word got stuck in his throat and he couldn’t say it.

On the entertainment side, someone was taking pictures and posted them on Facebook. Other people forwarded them to their groups, and after a few rounds of forwarding, they reached Charlie.

Charlie was lying in bed, eating the soup Emily had made for him. After enlarging the photo, he saw Estelle and Manley in the blurry background. Whether it’s because of the angle or not, their faces were really close, and they looked very intimate.

After thinking about it, Charlie sent the photo to Jonathan.

He wasn’t afraid of Estelle doing something to betray Jonathan. After their two encounters, he believed in her. What he was really afraid of was that scumbag Manley bullying Estelle.

Soon after, Jonathan called and asked, “When was this taken?”

Charlie glanced at the time, “Fifteen minutes ago.”

Jonathan uttered a dark “hmm” and hung up the phone.
